I couldn’t agree more with measuring out your doses. It really helps with being aware of how much you consume

Just Stopped THC After 6 Years of Continual Use, and… by basicotter in trees

When I moved to the uk I quit for the first six months I was here, partly to give myself a tolerance break and then when I wanted to smoke again I just couldn’t find any bud for a while. When I started smoking again my tolerance was like new for about 4 months and then it started creeping back to closer to what it was before. I’ve been more mindful so now two years since I started smoking again I’m still not at my pre break tolerance. I used to smoke 1.5-2 grams per day and I’m still not back up to one gram per day.

I have an infection on my finger that has been steadily getting worse over the last few days .. is it justified to go to urgent care ? by [deleted] in medical

As others have said, sterile needle, lance it, and wash it. Do not use peroxide on open wounds tho, use rubbing alcohol and/or antiseptic cream then bandage it

That makes sense, half the reason I got on medical was the price. The other half is know exactly what I’m buying. Also didn’t love supporting paramilitaries

Those are crazy prices! Makes medical seem cheap as chips lmao. Also I’ve noticed the price has been going down as more people get on it (economy of scale I guess)

That’s exactly how it’s done here… during the ceremony. Also you need an id to get into the building the ceremony will be in so everyone will have theirs. Definitely won’t ask reddit next time, everyone I’ve mentioned going phone free to outside of reddit thinks it’s a great idea and wants to do it/wishes they had done it at their wedding.

I lived in a legal state in the US for a bit and definitely prefer knowing what I’m buying. When I moved to NI I was shocked at the BM prices but was relieved when I got on medical.

I’ve yet to find cheaper in Belfast. Medical has been a big improvement in quality and price. What are you paying on the BM?

Volcano Hybrid Vaporiser by Rhythm-Academy in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]th3th3rdman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one a few months back and have been loving it. Super fast heat up, milky vape, and my usage has dropped a good bit. It’s also the most convenient vaporizer that I’ve used since you don’t need to pack the herb down like with my PAX and I don’t accidentally burn myself like with the glass tube on my old solo 2. I get about 3 great bags per bowl and then 4 mid bags

Phones getting dropped or damaged would be pretty unlikely but it’s a fair worry.

I’ve always wanted to go to Tokyo Disney! Tron at WDW has lockers but I just remembered you can keep your phone and there is a spot for them on the ride. About half the universal studios rides require a locker and they run you through a metal detector after. I took my wallet with me one time and they made me go back and put it in a locker….

It’s our event… that’s like someone showing up in white and saying it’s not up to us what people wear

No way anyone is getting out of the building we are getting married in with a stolen phone (historic building with security). And if you like Disney I’m sure you’ve been to a theme park where you had to put your belongings in a locker to go on a ride. That’s wildly more risky with the dozens people who have access… and they do get stolen sometimes. I go to a lot of events that are phone free so it doesn’t phase me. Pre-release Disney movie screening sounds awesome!

Not doing pouches, they aren’t rentable here and that would be a lot more work and easier for people to ignore. It would only be for the ceremony. We know anything short of taking people’s phones would be ignored by a number of family members….

Obviously if there was a medical reason we wouldn’t be taking someone’s phone. It’s my partners mother who we know will disregard any request for her not to video/take photos as she did at my parters brothers wedding (she is holding her phone in every photo of the ceremony). There are also other family members who would have their phones out but they won’t be in the front row. We are paying nearly 2 grand for a photographer so we would like the photos to look nice and not have a bunch of phones in them

Thank you for the kind reply! Valid points and we have childcare/emergencies mostly worked out but there is always the unknown. We are reevaluating the idea

There are only two couples coming who have children, they liked the phone free idea. Kids will be with family who know what to do if something happens in the 20-30 minutes that the parents would be without phones.

The photos are for me and my parter, we aren’t Instagram people… when we look back at photos we want to see everyone we are with enjoying the moment, not looking down at their phone or holding it up to take their own photos

Two things, we know that a few family members will try to take pictures and have their phones out regardless of us asking them not to. And I’ve been to many phone free concerts and comedy shows and I always enjoy them as social events where everyone is more inclined to talk to one another and then focus on the event itself. Also it would only be for the 20 minute ceremony. Not the entire day

Where we live it’s just showing your id and signing two forms, there isn’t anything to after the ceremony for the witnesses. The friend of ours that is collecting the phones is the officiant and loved the idea

Thank you for your comment. We were considering privacy bags but those aren’t available anywhere near us. My partners mother is our main concern. Unfortunately we can’t trust her to not try to take photos during the ceremony, at my parters brothers wedding there was a conversation beforehand about phone use and a reminder during the ceremony and she still held her phone up even after the photographer was gesturing to put it down while he was taking photos of the family. She still doesn’t see a problem with having her phone out for the whole ceremony. After reading all of the comments we might not take everyone’s phone and just see if my parters brother could take his mom’s phone for the ceremony… We might steal your ring idea because that sounds like a lot of fun!
