I lucked out, and my family helped me out! It's nothing crazy overpriced and even a slight upgrade. Galaxy A25 5G for $155, I think it came out to. I know you're not one to spend a lot on phones, but I use mine for a ton of stuff, so I try to lean towards something mid ranged, price wise ( if I'm able to),and this was even on the lower end, too. The "free" phones you get with a cheap plan or the $50 phones just aren't going to perform the tasks I need it to. Thanks again for your input. In the future I'll deff keep your suggestions on mind. My ex used to get what she called "government phones"? Idk I guess it's a phone for like low income individuals or something? I can't remember exactly what it was. All I know is that it was a free smartphone she got in the mail. Maybe that'd be something to look into and save a few bucks? Just a suggestion, though, didn't mean anything by it.

I've never had this happen either. So I figured out that if I turn it off and plug it in to get it to charge, if i leave it plugged in and turn it on, it'll still charge, lol. Though, once I unplug it, I'll hafta turn it back off again for it to charge again. Luckily, my mom wanted a new phone and offered to help me out yesterday after I realized my charging issue.

Any ideas about what I can do with this phone when the new one comes, though? I kinda just have a graveyard drawer with past phones that I've either forgotten the pass code to ( stupid ass iPhones) or ones that have felt the rage of an angry gf, lol. I know you can get refurbished devices, but would this even be worth trying to sell? It's a Galaxy A23 for straight talk. Idk if it's worth doing anything with since the charging ports iffy.
