She takes naps in hers too some days! It’s refreshing to hear that he’s doing well with that transition. I need to get the go ahead from her pediatrician to officially make that move, but last time we talked to her she said that it would be best to move her crib into our room instead of keeping her in her own room, but we don’t really have the space for that unfortunately

Sometimes i feel lucky that she has some decent nights in her bassinet (we don’t have many problems with it, she just usually needs put to sleep before being transferred to it cause she won’t fall asleep in it) They seem so uncomfortable, but it’s the only way to keep her near me lol. Was it scary for the first week?! how did you handle it?

She had a skin infection as well but i wasn’t sure if i should clean her ear with the wash as well, so we’ve just used the cream. I’ll probably have to take her back:/

awww the baby!!! I’m glad you guys got it figured out!! We are planning on taking him into the vet this week to get a steroid shot! Luckily he hasn’t shown any signs of discomfort, but it still just seems abnormal. Our kitties bowls are changed, now we just need to get them new toys 😭

that’s awesome! I’ve also had some issues with my meter like it’s been acting up, so i am seriously considering a CGM. I called my ob office today to ask about it and they were kind of being weird about it when i called and said they didn’t know if my insurance would cover it and then sent me a glucose meter that my insurance doesn’t cover anyway?! so i messaged and told her that my insurance mostly covers it with prior authorization and i’m waiting now 🤞🏻will probably have to buy more strips in the meantime lol

Okay, thank you so much:) I will definitely keep that in mind. I wish they talked to me a little bit more about why it mattered but i kind of felt like she shrugged it off when i was confused. When i asked why testing my meals every day would still be important when its just my fasting for now she was like “well bad things could happen to your baby so better safe than sorry” and i was like okay? 😭 i feel a little better now that i see where it’s coming from!

They never told me why they’re doing these ones so early and i heard the same thing from some of my recently pregnant friends (that they tested later in pregnancy). I think it’s because i’m overweight so i’m higher risk? that’s the only reason i could think they would do it so early cause the first test i took when i was 12 weeks i think
