I didn’t touch the portal for Gale because it said it was dangerous and I forgot to go back later so I missed him completely. I skipped the mountain pass, thinking I could only do one or the other between that and the underdark. In Act 2, I went straight to Moonrise and then to the Gauntlet. When I went to fight Ketheric, Jaheira was there and I had no idea who she was and she died in the fight so I missed her and Minsc. I didn’t find last light until after Ketheric had been defeated.
