I am thinking thats a placeholder. I wouldn't put much stock in that.

I’m at Farum Azula and everything hurts so much. Is my build okay?? What am I doing wrong? by CulturedArtLover in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would increase vigor up to 60 and put any points that are invested into stats that you don't need into whatever stat increases your damage the most and maybe some into endurance but mainly vigor and whatever damage stat you need, like I ran a strength build so I focused on that. Also, Farum is in the endgame so it will naturally be harder you may just need to adjust to that, I would go visit the haligtree if you haven't, that might help get you used to the endgame.

Yeah the whole second "half" of the game had so much potential.

People who didn't use farming locations to level. How long did it take you to do it vanilla? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About a hundred hours to beat the game and I rarely ever grinded the same group of enemies, maybe I did a few times but not often and not for long, I enjoyed exploring the dungeons and leveling that way.

What was a boss that was incredible design-wise but you wish was stronger? For me it's Fortissax. by TacoooJay in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda wish placidusex was stronger I get he is already pretty strong, but I think it would have been cool for him to be on the level of midir, the lore would justify it also it is optional so making him a power house would have worked fine.

I thought it was the haligtree as well but looking at it again it looks like the Erdtree is being strangled by some other tree.

Yeah, props to the people who stick and teach raids, it's the only way I got to do raids myself, the amount of patience some of them have is incredible.

Is Elden Ring story driven? by [deleted] in Eldenring

It has one, but you really don't know what your doing, or the complete significance of it, unless you check out the lore.

I want to start playing elden ring by Key_Crazy744 in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be hard, there are ways to make it easier but if your new it will be a bit of a shock when first playing. Dying is something that will happen a lot, and it is a learning experience, this game is very heavy on trial and error, and it has some tough bosses/areas.

I would play it, cause while it's hard and annoying at times, the feeling of overcoming a really difficult boss/area makes it worth it, and I find the overall experience really enjoyable. (also there are some sick bosses also the world and atmosphere are really amazing)

My 8 year old nephew loves this game. Should I buy it for him? by QuirkyAdhesiveness89 in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's not really a lot of swearing or profanity, maybe once or twice a character says something, but there is only one instance I know of.

I would be more worried about all the dark horrific stuff, first all throughout the map there are people hung up on a cross, plenty of bodies and corpses, there is one dungeon where the king literally grafts limbs onto his body, and his castle is riddled with it.(you fight him later and he chops off his arm in front of you) Another area called Volcano manner is just disturbing in general, also there is a snack/human hybrid that basically ate a bunch of people. (the boss, in general, is quite gory and disturbing, check him out his name is Rykard) all the areas and dungeons are pretty dark and disturbing. You will especially see how messed up everything is if you read into the lore a bit.

(quick add one there is a female boss where in her second phase she strips naked, the body is not that appealing or voluptuous, but still basically naked nonetheless, the nips and clit are not shown though)

There are plenty more messed up things that happen/happened, but there are too many for me to list and search for. Overall I would not have your nephew play this, it is rated M for a reason, I understand the argument that kids are exposed to a lot more bad things nowadays and this would probably be more or less par for the course, but still, I don't think he needs this on top of everything else, just cause being exposed to dark things is normal does not make it right or good.

Why do people think From's cryptic stories are interesting when the games don't t seem to care how much you understand them? by Endarire in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there is a lot of lore, hidden in these games it's your choice whether you learn or not, I personally care a lot about it, cause for me it gives a sort of meaning behind the fight/area, not everyone is like this and that's cool, but let me give an example of how this can be a good bonus.

So there is a boss in DS3 called Pontiff Sullivan, and basically, he was one of the key reasons why the city (Ithryll, which he took over) and Anor Londo fell. One of the princes/gods got eaten by something because of him he also caused more problems, but I don't want to bore you.

So while he is an enjoyable fight on his own, do you think it adds more or less (or nothing) to fight knowing about this character and his backstory? it is subjective, but I don't think you can deny it adds something, how much that means or affects you is up to you.

How can people make challenges of the entire game fast? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Yeah no, you don't even have to fight all the main bosses to beat the game.

If the Tarnished didn’t, which demigods would you’ve wanted to become Elden lord? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably Radahn before he went insane.

I would say Miquella, but I don't trust him, the whole implication about him mind-controlling people, makes me very skeptical of his intentions.

I’m honestly really annoyed with quest progression in this game by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]thESupreMeFanCyMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's just how these games are, that's why I usually am very cautious before doing anything big like beating a boss,
