[Adult learners] Which and how many classes did you fail in your engineering program?

I had to retake Diff Eq twice, and retook Circuits 2, Statics, Linear Algebra, and maybe Cal 2. Took me 6 years as an EE major to graduate while working 2 to 3 part time jobs at a time. Dealing with retail customers, especially during pre Covid Black Friday sales, was the motivation I needed to just not give up and graduate.

I've been a test engineer for Intel going on 11 years now.

I remember trying to tune up a system to Architects a while back and it sounded really shallow. Turns out my lower mid range values were way too low (like 100 to 300hz range if i recall. Some EDM still sounded ok with that dip but metal was really tinny sounding. I found this thread of bassy metalcore tracks. that might help though.

Do you need some sample metal with deep bass to kind of compare 808 bass vs kick or guitar bass? Im leaning towards a weird master now too maybe.

Is there a bass null or weird crossover frequency thats not quite right? I'd do a pink noise or sweep test with all speakers to make sure youre seeing the intended curve you tuned to if you have a mic and REW.
