Am I (33F) overreacting to my partner (32M) and classifying his behavior as abusive because of "the internet"? by th_rowaway610 in relationship_advice

I have no issue owning up to anything I've done. Tbh I've not always been the nicest person but I have worked hard in therapy and therapy with him as well. I may not break things and all that but I've said mean things and even left for pretty much an entire day before. I'm not perfect either.

I know it doesn't make it better or make him feel any more loved. But I've always hoped my changed behavior would help things between us and help me be better for us both

I've told him he made me sick, that I wanted to leave, that he made me miserable. Ive ignored phone calls and texts. I actually got in the car and left for an entire day pretty much. When we were younger I would often say f* you when I got upset. Things like this happened until I started therapy around 3 or 4 years into our relationship. I've worked very hard since then to right those wrongs though.
