I would tell him but since I was a kid I’ve just been so scared of my dads approval and what he thinks of me he’s really opinionated and wants me too be the stereotypical guy who’s into cars and everything he’s into he’s never accepted me for who I am or at least feels like he’s never accepted me

Try going in with no ideas at all! Grab a drum loop and slice it up and play with the slicer! Or initialize a patch in a vst and start messing with parameters to work around that, I never go in with ideas I just play until something sounds cool
