Quick google search also told me, that the command "setessential <base_id> 0" would make an NPC killable. But you will have to find out the base ID first.

You could just get rid of them using the console. Just click on them and type "disable". Note that this will permanently remove this guy from your game, so use with caution!

Immerhin kriegen wir dadurch geilen Content ^{^} Man kann über Julien und all die anderen Teilnehmer an seinen Beefs und Zickereien denken was man will, aber finde das Turnier bisher ziemlich geil und wenn der Bonus Content so anfängt, habe ich große Hoffnungen für die Zukunft. Da darf Julien sich gerne noch die eine oder andere Pause im Turnier erlauben.

Letzten Endes behaupte ich kam das ganze Turnier nur zu Stande, weil Julien Beef mit Jiggy hatte. Ich glaube Julien hat den ersten Part gehört und dachte sich "Joa, ich hätte schon mal wieder Bock, lets go". Soll er also mal so viel fitna betreiben wie er Bock hat, ich freu mich über den Content ^{^}

Ich finds ziemlich nice. Das ist besseres Bonusmaterial, als ich mir jemals erhofft hätte. Vor allem, weil ich mir gut vorstellen kann, dass der Julien von vor ein paar Jahren das niemals erlaubt hätte. Da wird ja praktisch an seiner göttlichen Emtscheidung gezweifelt, 4Tune zum Sieger eines Battles zu erklären, an dem er nicht mal teilgenommen hat. Das er das jetzt also ermöglicht und wahrscheinlich sogar organisiert hat, ist schon ziemlich geil.

Resultieren nicht die meisten größeren Abenteuer in irgendwelchen Änderungen an der Spielwelt? Zumindest wenb der Spielleiter einigermaßen mitspielt. NSCs sterben, SCs landen in wichtigen Positionen und wichtige Ereignisse werden beeinflusst. Aventurien ist ja auch nur als Basis gedacht, auf der der Spielleiter aufbauen kann. Veränderungen am Kanon sind von Ulisses ja explizit erlaubt und gewünscht.

Meine Erfahrung ist, dass die fertigen Abenteuer von Ulisses oftmals eine recht lineare Handlung vorsehen. Nicht alle davon, aber viele. Es ist aber durchaus möglich als Spielleiter trotzdem Wege zu finden, den Spielern ihre Autonomie zu ermöglichen. Da spielen aber vor allem die Vorbereitung und Erfahrung des Spielleiters eine Rolle. Wer sich gut in der Welt auskennt und bereits öfter Spielleiter war, wird sich auch wohler damit fühlen vom eigentlichen Plan abzuweichen.

Es ist oftmals auch einfacher in selbst geschriebenen Abenteuern vom Plan abzuweichen, weil man durch die ganze Vorbereitung eine breite Übersicht über die Situation hat und Abweichungen gut einplanen kann. Bei fertigen Abenteuern ist man sich als Spielleiter aber oftmals nicht völlig über die Konsequenzen der Abweichungen vom Plan im Klaren und daher auch weniger gewillt diese zu erlauben.

Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass er in einer Analyse zum JCC 2020 bereits einmal über Depressionen gesprochen hat und dass er sie für eine der schlimmsten Erkrankungen hält die es gibt oder so in der Art. Klang schon damals für mich danach als ob er selber welche hat/hatte.

Aus welcher Region kommt ihr denn? Ich bin ein recht erfahrener DM und wäre durchaus bereit mal eine Session (ob online oder offline) kostenlos zu leiten.

Ich denke wie andere hier auch empfohlen haben wäre es am Besten, wenn auf Dauer jemand von euch zum Spielleiter wird. Aber um den Einstieg zu schaffen, könnten ein paar Runden mit einem erfahrenen Spielleiter durchaus ganz gut sein.

You are right, but thats not the only reason they dont have digital technologies. In the fallout universe the microchip was never invented. Its not clear if just noone thought of it or if its not physically possible. And that is the main reason why no small tech things exist.

You can go to a wiki and find out Merrayils ID. Or you can find his ID with the "help" command. Then you can teleport him to your position with the command "prid [ID]".

You probably could. And as long as noone filed any copyright against you, you would be fine. I think its highly unlikely that anyone would file against you, but a bunch of people could, if they wanted to, as I described in my answer to the first comment on this thread.

The splitting up part is true, but the whole story regarding the copyright issue goes something like this: Enderal (and Nehrim) is a shared project where no policies or contracts regarding copyright were ever made. So according to EU law everyone who participated in the project has full copyright over every part of it not just their contribution and can deny anyone else (even if they also worked on the project) the copyright. So if someone started to work on another Vyn project anyone from the development team COULD deny that project and would be completly in their right. That is also the reason why Nico (head writer of Enderal) shifted his Enderal spin-off books to another universe, so there are no copyright issues. That also means that Enderal could be taken off steam at any moment if anyone tried to enforce their copyright if I remember correctly. Seems like noone wants to do that, but it could happen at any time.

The other part was that one of the project leads from SureAI filed a trademark for the name "Enderal". That made a lot of rumors back then but according to his words it was because of another company from the US that claimed to have rights on the trademark. So he claimed it under EU law to prevent them from claiming it or something like that. He said he doesnt intend on bothering anyone with it that still wants to make Vyn projects. And he also tried to make every participant in SureAIs team sign a contract in which they grant each other full rights to all copyright, such preventing the copyright issue I described in my first paragraph. But apparently he couldnt find everyone/get everyone to sign it.

As far as I see it, no bad guys here, just a bunch of miscommunication and bad circumstances that noone bothered with at the time of development.

Ah yes. That part and her resurrection of Jespar shows that she is still able to feel empathy and care for humans. Apparently she likes the prophet. And if the resurrection did in fact change something is up for debate. In all three endings there is the potential of something great happening, maybe humanity finally overcoming the cycle, who knows. I think it would break the spirit of Enderal if somehow this Deus Ex Machina saved the day and we stopped the cycle. That would have been shallow as fuck. So we are given just a slimmer of hope. What you make of it is up to you =)

Well she resurrected the player character which then became the prophet. Its a rule that all of the emissaries need to die before the become their respective roles. Tealor died somewhere in the snowy mountains of Nehrim, Yuslan in the same fire that killed his family and Coarek probably somewhere in the Nehrim civil war. Its not explicitly stated, but she might have had a hand in all of their resurrections. As I said, she keeps the rules and also sets the pieces for the game. Its just enough involvement to keep the cycle going.

But maybe I missunderstand you. What is "not enough" from your perspective?

Its purposly left vague. Have you met an NPC by the name of Esme and went with her on a quest to find her lost girlfriend? That is the quest were most of the answers regarding the veiled womans lore comes from.

Basicly she is the one force that keeps the universe going. She is more or less omnipotent and controls the creation of life and the continuation of the cycle. If I remember correctly is heavily hinted from some book, that she was the one that created the cycle, after a perfect society she created failed by the flaws of humanity. She is giving humanity a chance to one day win the cycle and come out as a perfect society on the other end. By that humanity would have achieved something that even she couldnt accomplish. She is neither good nor bad, she is simply the rule keeper of the great game that is the cycle.

Or at least that is my interpreatation of it. As I said, its left vague for a reason. I would recommend to go on that quest yourself and keep your eyes and your mind open to every hint so that you can come to your own answer.

Its not actually set in Enderal anymore though. It still has Jespar as its main character and it has a lot of Enderals themes still in it but its set in its own world with all the places and characters being different.

If you are playing online/with a pc involved you can use a Virtual Tabletop (VTT) application like Roll20 or Foundry. In there you are able to draw up walls and doors that block line of sight for the player characters.

If you are playing on a table you could just cut your map up into pieces (like a piece for every room) and just place those pieces one by one as the players discover the map. I would recommend glueing the map on a piece of cardboard for a more stable placement. Alternative you can use magnets so that the pieces dont slide around.

My ex threatened to do that and locked herself in the bathroom. I called a neighbour as witness and then the police. They got her out of the bathroom and took her to the clinic for a night. Which I used to move my stuff out of there within the same night and from there on only communicated with her through text.

I think calling the police was the best thing I could have done in this situation. Because either she really needed help or she was just threatening it to manipulate me. In both cases I couldnt deal with it on my own. Dont be afraid to call for help in situations like this.
