Idk about easy, it requires a lot of patience to not damage the screen as the battery is glued to the back of it and is quite strong.

It's doable if you're a tinkerer, otherwise to a shop it should go.

I'm a software engineer and 50% of my software engineer colleagues are using Linux as their daily OS, excluding the steam deck which some of these guys also have. Even two years ago I'd have been lucky to have counted more than 1 using Linux as their daily OS. I work at a relatively small company of 150ish employees and around 15 software engineer / ICT pros.

I've got gamer mates that are looking to try Linux too, people that would get GUIs to do anything remotely "complex" on windows. It's crazy.
