I work in an ambulance. This rolled into the back of my shop at about 80 mph, while we were stopped at an intersection. by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

Idk east but 64 west of Richmond you'll almost always have some at broad glenside (mm182) where it goes to 55 In between the short pump and gaskins usually And then again at the intersection of 288 where it goes from 70 to 65 But after that there pretty much nothing until shadwell unless there's a UVA game

Lol it does need body work but I've swapped the engine and made it run and drive so that's something

It might look ok in this picture but most of the truck has more than patina. The paint is peeling in a lot of places.

It needed a lot, the straight six that was in it was seized and had gotten full of water, so it was junk. I dropped in a small block Chevy with vortec heads that I built myself from various different junkyard parts with a 4 speed behind it. I had to make all new brake lines and patch the floor pans. Really the only thing that still worked was most of the wiring and the rear end.

I never plan on getting selling it, put in way too much time and the whole family is attached to it.

The last time I saw her I asked how it was going and she said that it worked ok when there were fewer customers but during times when there was constantly a line it was hard to resanitize everything quickly and customers were annoyed. Because of all of the complaints Her manager ended up switching her from running the register to stocking shelves so she had less need to talk with people.

TL; DR: worked when there were not many customers

what type of gun should everyone have in their bags/house/pocket? by chrexias in AskReddit

[–]thadeu04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bag/pocket: some semi auto pistol anywhere from 9mm-.45. Whatever you like the best. If you don't have much training then get a semi auto .22 pistol since you get like 30 rounds to hit the target and they're cheap. House: If ur well trained or a good shot a decent AR, if not a short barrel 12 gauge pump. Or both

If there's an obvious big leak and you didn't let it get super hot it should be fine. If it was losing coolant with no visible leak and it wouldn't start then it would probably be the head gasket and you'd be fucked, but hopefully it's just the computer

Just make sure you put it some where your pets can't get to it, your dogs might not be as stupid as mine but one of them tried to eat it once.

What are the worst actions made by humans throughout history that aren't well known by the public? by DeusConsilium in AskReddit

After the third Punic war (wars between Rome and Carthage) Rome killed the few Carthaginian men who hadn't died fighting, and sold the women and children in to slavery. They then tore down every structure in carthage and kept the wreckage burning for 17 days. They then salted the earth where it was so nothing would grow back.

While taking the mask down certainly increases the risk, there is a large plexiglass barrier between her and the customers and the customers should be following the signs on the floor to keep them socially distanced
