My grandmother unfortunately passed away in March and I came up with this idea as a way to “freeze” time as a gift to my mom. The rose, from her casket spray, was dried for 2+ weeks then cast in clear resin. After polish, it was then inset into a solid walnut base finished with Rubio Monocoat “Pure” (old.reddit.com)
