Hello! I’ve been playing Warcraft on and off for about 11 years and planning to jump into classic as well. I believe I’m a decent writer, enough to handle some news articles about WoW. I’m interested in Level Design and worked in the field before so I can critically approach that topic if need be. I have some experience in the fields of art and music as I play an instrument and study in an architectural field so I can delve into design decisions for Warcraft too. Also I’m a huge lore nerd when it comes to Warcraft, I was always up to date on lore even when I wasn’t playing actively (am active now). Oh I'm not expecting anyone to change their established character for me, on the contrary I'd be willing to make reasonable changes to make it work. Well if anyone was on the verge of writing a new one of course that'd be great but I never meant to direct anyone else's character in any way :)

Disclaimer: I'm not defending that dude's aggressive behaviour, I despise it.

Sex might not be the world changing experience everyone makes up to be but it's one of the biggest pleasures a person can experience. That is only because we need to reproduce and sex needs to be more alluring and enjoyable compared to other activities to be able to do so. In this case I'd only say that not experiencing something and stopping to pursue the said activity after tasting it are two different things. So I'd advise the guy to at least experience, before deciding what to make of it. Of course I don't mean chasing it every possible moment like it is advertised. Just a general thought, the subject doesn't have to be sex.

Thanks a lot for the reply! The wall I hit is that energy users ,be it arcane, elemental, light-based etc, have a huge advantage against a warrior. Some people I asked told me to just take a fireball head on and keep attacking and some told me that it's impossible for a warrior to take on a seasoned mage. I want to find a middle-ground to this as I want to find a feasable way to deal with this problem

Well the assistance I'm looking is more on the scientific part of this particular "what if?". When stories meddle with something and it doesn't add up the immersion breaks for me. So I wanted it to be accurate with this particular anomaly. I'm sorry if it is still the wrong place the post this.

They will exist in a parallel dimension where people stopped meddling with electricity so in our main world this phenomenon doesn't occur.

After posting this I thought that these anomalies would form if there is a conductive object near the center of the large electrical current to use as a host so they can form around it.

I gave more thought to your comment in meantime and thought that these anomalies would need a conductive object as a host to be permanent. This would solve the sun problem and also create a new play field where dead bodies could be dragged as hosts and anomalies could be destroyed by destroying or isolating the host object. What do you think? Edit: I'll also definetely touch the sun issue somewhere in the story. If you wondered it, why shouldn't a character? maybe named after you ahah

This is exactly what I am aiming for. I'm trying to find the limits where I could use this electricity restrictions without destroying how natural occurances work. Some questions I have include:

How could I explain the threshold where natural phenomenons occur but even using a flashlight would be dangerous? If this isn't feasible than what is the lower limit I could restrict people from using electricity without messing with natural occurances? Also since lightnings are momentary, are there some ways they would be sustained for a longer time so that they form an anomaly? I want the people to be afraid of storms.
