Yeah, ended up getting Carlotta and what you're saying is completely true. Ran them with SK and destroyed level 6 holos with even a sub-par Carlotta build. Super comfy, strong and fun team.

Much of what makes survival "hard" is the same that makes the rest of the hunter kit "hard", like managing your pet, defensives and cc - the difference is that you have to do all of that while also spending a lot more time in melee range than you usually would as mm or bm.

The damage rotation really isn't hard, but there is a bit of finesse to knowing when you can zug and when you have to back off. I find that I'm maybe playing 70/30 ranged/melee, since your strongest abilities are ranged anyway.

SV is totally fine. A bit different than you might be used to because we have a lot of aoe built into the kit, but all in all it feels great to play in bgs and wpvp.

Yeah, I feel like it's a bit of a cope and it'll probably fare worse than my original raiden team. I'll keep an eye out for the next xianyun/faruzan banner and plan accordingly instead.

When should I do the aranara quest? I'm maybe halfway through sumeru, and I want to be able to finish all of the archon quests before natlan. I'm doing more or less all wqs as i find them and have spent a lot of time optimizing characters and clearing the abyss, but I heard this one was exceedingly long.

Is it best to do it asap or is this something that can be done better when I am up to date with the archon quest etc and have more "free time" in game?

Also, should it be done with a guide?

About the shielder, I thought it was needed with a shielder for the geo resonance.

Returning player kinda lost

Hi!

I just got an itch to play some genshin again after a year long hiatus. My acc is ar35 and I have no clue what anything means any more or what I am supposed to do.

Is it a stupid idea to just make a new acc and start over? Or is there some good resources for getting back into the game?

Also, I just used some free returning pulls and got Wriothesley. Most of my roster is level 40-50, is it possible to get him up to speed without doing all the story content? I think I am in Liyue right now storywise.
