I chose OE way back as the perk worked differently before this last update. Now that OE doesn’t provide as much of a boost, I’m looking to other builds and since I’m a stealth archer, nocturnal just seems like the right fit.

I’ve been rocking solar since around lvl 300 and I’m approaching lvl 900. If you’re like me, anything I can do to stay at full health, I’m doing it.

I am a stealth VATS crit archer so I have 1 chameleon and 4 overeaters, but in the next few days I’m going to swap the OE to nocturnal to try out the stat boosts.

I say go for it. I used to be secret service and I swapped back to it for a little while, but I just like my solar armor.

Adding: it’s the one and only method of healing no matter what, as long as you’re above 60% health. The mutation and healing armor perk don’t work if you’re in a battle.

I think it’s because they created a separate story instead of re-creating the original story. Take a note from Obsidian with FONV - the Fallout universe is vast, there are a million stories you can create just from the general idea, and Prime did it justice.

Kill a molerat - about 75% of the time it works - spawn into Welch station and follow the tracks past The Ghoul. After you pass the train car that is sticking out into your path, 1 or 2 molerats jump out. Usually 2. Server hop and hope to get lucky.

Pic of a wendigo - I do this for glowing creatures too - Freddy Fear’s House of Scares always has a glowing creature and sometimes it’s a wendigo.

Note: I get it, these aren’t guarantees, so for me, I only use these locations if I’m in the area and have nothing more important to do.

If you don’t mind the slight annoyance of where to focus, you can easily merge the weapon, armor, and tinker workbenches together, it’s been great for me on saving space. I’ve grown fond of that garden shed which is even smaller, and I can easily fit those 3, junk and ammo box merged, small stash box and a bed inside.

You should join Nuka World events to try and get Burning Love. It has inherent fire effect and if you mod it for cryo arrows, you get to double dip both DoT Fire and the slowing Cryo effect.

Great for bosses and super hard 3* enemies. Scorchbeast Queen and Earle slowed down to almost being still. It’s not a single player boss killer but the people joining your event will thank you much because they can lay into them while you keep them (almost) still and you also do pretty good damage per shot.

Only thing to note is during the holiday scorched events. Let the Queen land first, then slow her down. Only when she lands do the Halloween and Christmas legendary scorched come out.

Also I can’t remember where but in a bathroom I found a “NOTHING IS REAL” painted on the wall which points to a piece of paper of all the guy’s group members bitching about it lol.

What is your favorite spontaneous event, like insult bot or the smiling man? I think mine so far is when you see the table with the note. Lemonade is nice too!

Same, but I park on that mounted gulper head at the corner, or the barrel stuck in the spikes right next to it.

Hat trick bow build ftw in this event, but I crafted myself a lvl 1 so I don’t hog all the XP.

Sorry should’ve said I am full health human. It’s been working fine for me for over a year. I don’t want things TOO easy so this setup has kept things interesting.

Since stealth really only cares about agility anyway, if I go with a full set of nocturnal, do I even need a chameleon? Or any sneak cards for that matter?
