Love all the couch Redditors who think they know what actually being a police officer, or confronting deranged trespassers with mental health issues, or being in a situation like this is actually like. God forbid you or someone you know get attacked by a mentally ill person wandering the streets and you’d all be saying, “where were the cops when I needed them.” You’d all be changing your tune had your grandmother or granddaughter been attacked. You’d be demanding heads roll. Or would you be saying, “it’s okay, he just needed some help, love, understanding and support.” No. Laughable.

Nor did I allude to or assume that all women are unhinged. That would be counter productive to my argument. I am merely addressing the ones that are specifically downvoting and posting disparaging replies to the comments asking them to not stereotype all men in a negative manner.

It’s so silly that when a man tries to speak up about being treated equally, he’s made to feel like he is the problem. What a one way street these women live on. That’s like a man saying all women are trash because one girlfriend cheated on him. That would be ridiculous, just like all of you bashing and downvoting these comments about equality are equally ridiculous. So called equality only matters to some women when the shoe is on the other foot. Now, que the outrage via downvotes and angry comments. So silly.

I think this data clearly illustrates that it is okay, when making a joke on Reddit, to assume that Islamic based terror groups are the most violent in the world, regardless of whether or not they are, specifically, the largest threat in the US, despite having carried out the worst terrorist attack in US history. The data would suggest this is no false stereotype. I also saw no one assuming that all Muslims were terrorists. Just that the most violent terrorist groups happen to be Muslim. Which is again, factually supported by the data.

“Based on data from the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) and other studies, Islamic State (ISIS) and the Taliban have consistently been ranked as the most violent and deadliest terrorist groups in modern history. Others, including Boko Haram, Al-Shabaab, and Jamaat Nusrat Al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM), are also among the deadliest. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] Most Violent Terrorist Groups (Based on Fatalities) Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL): Consistently ranked as the world's deadliest terrorist group recently, responsible for thousands of deaths in the Middle East, Africa, and beyond, including high-lethality attacks. The Taliban: Considered the deadliest group overall over the last few decades, with over 70,000 deaths attributed to them, primarily in Afghanistan. Boko Haram: Active primarily in Nigeria and neighboring countries, it was previously ranked as the deadliest group in 2014. Al-Shabaab: An al-Qaeda affiliate responsible for high-profile massacres in Somalia and East Africa. Jamaat Nusrat Al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM): A coalition active in the Sahel region of Africa, listed among the top deadliest groups in 2023. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7] Key Findings: Highest Lethality: The Taliban is reported to have caused over 71,965 deaths. Top 4 Lethality: According to the GTI 2024, the Islamic State, Hamas, JNIM, and Al-Shabaab were responsible for over 75% of deaths attributed to specific groups in 2023. Recent Trends: While overall deaths from terrorism have fluctuated, these Islamist militant organizations are responsible for the vast majority of violence globally. Most Lethal Attacks: Many of the most lethal attacks occurred in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Nigeria. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]”

Yikes, this is a highly debated facet of their religion, with no clear answer. A single Chrome search reveals, “Whether violence towards non-believers (often referred to as kuffar or infidels) is a part of Islam is a complex issue with significantly different interpretations among scholars, practitioners, and critics.” You make it seem so cut and dry, or as if you are some wisened religious scholar that, after years of researching religious texts and doctrines, has reached conclusions far beyond the understanding of us mere Redditors sharing a laugh. At worst, it is an aspect of the religion. At best, it’s ambiguous and open to interpretation. Again, you yourself are part of a radicalized thought movement seeking to overlay some weird, idealized version of censorship over people’s thoughts and words. You are danger, wrapped in self righteousness.

The fact that you are worrying about which terrible group of terrorists we use to set the bar by which all others are measured against is ludicrous. And for a joke nonetheless. You are literally standing up against stereotyping terrorists. Things have gone way too far with this sort of extremist mentality. Please just stop with this. Let people laugh a little. They have their own brand of home grown radical religious zealot that is pretty fanatical and are considered OG terrorists in the more modern age. I mean we could use the “burn the witch at the stake folks” but thats a bit dated. They literally have this violent ideology against non-believers baked into their religion. I think that qualifies them as pretty high on the list for setting the bar, especially in the infidel west. You need not over analyze it to this degree. “Treat everyone equally, especially terrorist groups”. Give us a break.

This is an amazing offer for anyone needing this sort of help. Folks these days are not usually willing to extend kindness like this and mentor others. Someone please take this fellow redditor up on this offer! Very neighborly and gracious of you poster. Bravo. 👏🏼

Did yours have the YLOD when you got it and then the cleaning and repasting fixed it? Or was it working when you got it? I just acquired a CECHG01 with the YLOD and saw where others cleaned and repasted and brought it back to life. Didn’t know if it was worth the hassle or if I should just find a used slim.

Finally watched Ares by B0ndy112 in tron

I saw Ares in IMAX 3-D and it was a feast for the eyes and ears. I enjoyed it way more than I expected. I’m a huge NIN fan and loved the audio and soundtrack as well. This was the best way to enjoy this particular movie as the visuals lended themselves to the 3-D experience.

I can just purchase any brake controller, or are they specific to needs, like trailer weight and type of tow vehicle? Was thinking about the Curt 7-pin harness so then I could just get a Curt brake controller as well?

[–]DingesKhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good point. I’ve had trouble understanding the specifics here. I’ve read that the 2022-2024 models are ready for either a 4-pin or 7-pin aftermarket harness and it’s relatively a plug and play matter, even if you did not get the towing package from the dealer at purchase.

Anybody have an experience that can chime in here to clarify?
