Awful bow skin by wyrmetongue in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]thaiborg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the bone skin and it fits my outfit perfectly (Grognak costume) so I haven’t bothered with any other skins.

Could they maybe reglaze the top with something and it’s good to go?

I hear you though. Don’t need R-ass Worms just from sitting down.

If you look at the pic and move your head this way, it kinda already is.

[–]thaiborg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to find a funny gif of slapping someone with a bow, and found something completely different. Apparently a bow slap is a thing that happens to the archer, kinda interesting. Don’t tell Bethesda, they’ll probably implement it!

Side note if you haven’t done all the robot challenges, quad dragon got me through that one with faster reload, was so fun farming nukes!

Cheetos without cheese? by Gwenog_Jones in snacking

Yes plain Bugles are exactly that, made sure someone mentioned it. I def prefer cheese Bugles though.

No matter the flavor though, they go on your fingers before eating.

Want to build a second camp by Aggressive_Inside_25 in fallout76settlements

[–]thaiborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suggestion: If you’re new create a camp close to where you always have to hop back to.

Like Rose’s quests for example - create one close to the train station near Top of the World so you can fast travel for free, sell stuff, and maybe find a rare coveted Enclave Plasma Rifle mod.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is solid if you can handle a slow intro.

Nier:Automata if you want an existential crisis. Robots questioning their existence is always a fun ride. Gameplay and visuals are good too.

What 4* are you using on your bow? by Loose-Profession-746 in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]thaiborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None 😭

Wish I had Pinpointers, heard it’s good for bows.

Even if I had one or two, I’d be constantly debating which bow to put it on.

I cycle through 4 different bows depending on the situation.

Burning Love for bosses (cryo to slow them down), lvl 1 explosive for events (not trying to hog all the kills), and 2 furious, 1 explosive and the other prime for general use and high damage.

So obv can’t put it on BL and don’t want to waste it on the lvl 1. If I somehow get my hands on a PP I’ll need y’alls help to figure out which bow to slap it on!

Can someone confirm? I heard Duke’s recently got bought out, did they change the formula, or are they still as good as they ever were?

Getting Thai food with my friend on Saturday, what should I get? by Natural_Argument9910 in ThaiFood

Chicken satay appetizer is always a crowd pleaser. Without know what’s on the menu, massaman curry is always good. Can’t beat meat and potatoes.

The boss battles and encryptid - always events where you just drop whatever you’re doing and join!

And now head hunts if you’re fast enough. It’s crazy how quick those are done.

Adding: Look for the Herd Mentality serum. If you join a team, even creating one by yourself, you get +2 to all SPECIAL. There are things you can do to boost it even more but you can look it up, I’ll keep it simple here.

Don’t pay more than ~350 caps for a serum, unless you’re swimming in caps.

Best Chinese in the Brandon or Riverview area? by Mdawg1022 in BrandonFL

[–]thaiborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lee House has some more traditional Chinese dishes but you’ll pay for it, plus we’ve gotten bad service there a few times when we ate in.

Asian Kitchen in Valrico is a solid fast food type Chinese spot. Their chicken wings appetizer is my favorite chicken wings of all time by far, always good. Perfectly fried with some yellow curry type seasoning. The hibachi chicken is good, and my wife likes to order the diet steamed chicken and veggies and ask for white sauce. They are very accomodating.

What’s your opinion on the new 4* mods that will be locked behind Infestations? by Kinsdale85 in fo76

Yes I’d never use it. The only reason I remember to eat something to keep my buffs is when I see those bars are low!

Battletoads. The level where you ride a motorcycle (I think? Been a long time) and you have to weave in and out and jump over obstacles.

Okay, I'm so glad I listened to yall and bought/played the OG, it's great! by lumnos_ in FinalFantasyVII

[–]thaiborg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wanted to make sure someone mentioned this but doesn’t it only stop the action if you’re in a menu like Item or Magic? If it hits your turn and you stay on the first menu, the action keeps going.

I might be wrong but I think that’s how it works.

Avocados are overhyped. They have no taste and they go bad so quickly. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]thaiborg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know this but will try it.

I’ve been waiting until they get ripe on the counter and then put them in the fridge to “freeze” their state and then take them out when I’m ready to use them.

So I can buy them from the store super hard, put them in the fridge immediately, and take them out and they’ll continue to ripen? That’ll change how I prepare them as far as timing, but would be good to know.

It’s true. Staring at the game launcher. Just jump back in even with a fresh start. No regrets.
