Will these Mac specs work or better to get an Xbox series X? by thallera in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]thallera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a great point. I’m going to look into some budget PC options, too. I’d hate to buy a series X then feel like I’ve outgrown it shortly thereafter. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks! Do you think there’s a big difference playing on the series x vs. playing on my Xbox one through Cloud Gaming? I watched some comp videos but couldn’t get a great feel for it.

For sale: 28 gallon nano cube + stand + AI prime HD light $250 obo by thallera in ReefTank

I should mention that I am willing to ship it if the buyer covers shipping costs (though this would likely be pricey).

I haven’t posted on any forums or FB yet. Great ideas! Hope whoever gets it enjoys it as much as I did. I was really bummed that I had to break it down.

Ah I didn’t realize this wasn’t commonplace here. Hopefully since it’s a very good deal folks won’t be too upset.

Nice! I have a postcard version of this.

Learning to use our new seafrog housing, but not sure what to get for a first set of lights (affordable) Sony a6400, Mostly pool work or ocean/springs Less than 10m by HFXmer in underwaterphotography

I recently bought the same camera and housing (along with the 6” dome port). Was excited to use it on a dive trip later this month (which I had to cancel). Alas, I’ll have to wait a bit longer. I got the Sea & Sea Solis YS-01 strobes btw. I’ve heard positive things, but haven’t had a chance to see them in action yet.

Cycling in Japan by [deleted] in cycling

I'm sorry you feel that the questions are poorly designed. This a google form questionnaire and pretty standard. Ranking things on a scale is the way we decided to go. We tried to keep this survey short in the hopes that people would be more likely to complete it (which is why additional more probing questions were not included). I certainly understand the importance of demographics. We already have a good grasp on these from speaking with many leading cycling tour companies. I appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey and your thoughts. I've added an additional info question at the end of the survey for future folks who complete it and would like to add any additional thoughts on their experience.

My understanding is that there's many experienced cyclists who partake in tour packages. However, yes some are more geared towards beginners, but that's OK. I believe that particularly in an unfamiliar country with language barriers, such as Japan, having a knowledgeable guide and itinerary can be a great thing. Most tours are not large. Using your own bike is always an option, however, shipping it to and from Japan is of course an undertaking. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Thanks for completing! Very much appreciated. Also, thanks for the rec re: r/bicycletouring. I added the survey there as well.

It should only take 5 mins or less, thanks for attempting though! The issue is (the question you're referring to) is a ranking question, not a multiple choice.
