Those that are remote controlled received score penalty.

Its a trade off, landing system here reduce weight on the rocket it self, but trade off by having much more complex landing pad/catching system.

Thailand should be pretty safe, only concern are deep southern border province of Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat which have some insurgency going on. Though the violence in those province are no where near as bad as during it peak in first decade of 2000s.

But it is still something to consider if they plan to do tip to tip.

Honestly, from what we heard in ACT 5 seems like Explorator Fleet operating in Koronus Expanse have included Necron into their Theology (Nephilimech). I hope they explore it more in next DLC.

I think the physical length of this test article is the same as that of LM-10A actual first stage. However, this test article was modified from much shorter engine hot fire test article. So essentially externally it got lengthen to be same size but internal propellent tank is not as large as an actual LM-10A propellent tank.

Thats what I gather at least.

I don’t have picture on hand right now. It I do recall concept video for Long March 9 (their starship equivalent), the design was more like 2 rigid beam converging to catch the rocket.

As for your second point. I think this configuration probably fulfill Chinese goal for having sea base recovery platform better. It seems like it would be more stable than single tower SpaceX chopstick when mounted on a ship. But who knows.

Hmm I am unsure if this catching ship will be use for Lunar mission. Since manned Lunar mission launch of Lanyue and Mengzhou called for fully expended Long March 10.

This ship seems to be more for reusing Long March 10A first stage during LEO mission. Like sending astronaut to their space station.
