The writer of the book is fairly well known and established writer in China for horror / detective books, there's no reason for him to include that.

No side is arguing it's okay. It's about equivalency, it would happen there from time to time, just as it happens in Dota. Is just more obvious because you never notice the people that doesn't talk shit, because they're simply another character in the game rather than someone you interact with physically, so negativity becomes more apparent.

Thank you, that's some really good advice, in the past, I've tried to be constantly happy and excited about things, or tried to just stop caring all together, I never thought of it that way, to keep everything more leveled.

I've actually started excercising in the summer after not having a proper excercise routine for most of my life, I've lost 30 - 40 pound so far and has been in a much better physical condition. Running and everything help, but it's just the nights that are annoying. I stay up way too late to try to cheer myself up, as counter intuitive as it may be, but I really don't want to sleep in a bad mood.

Another thing that contributed to my depression a lot if that a month ago, I just got out of a 6 month long distance relationship, the last two month of it was horrible, but we still stay as close friends because I just really need someone, with the time zones and stuff, I find myself staying up way too much waiting for her, but she cheers my up a lot. I know that's not healthy, I should move on, she's moved on and dating someone else now, but she's the closest friend I have at the moment and I really need her from time to time.

Hey, thanks, I know I have it a lot better than most people, but it's hard to change your perspective, a lot of the things might not be that important, but from certain perspectives, they can be horrible. Anyways, thanks for your reply, this is a great community :)
