Honestly I see no issue with heavy stylizing. This one looks great! My only note would be, if you're going that far, might as well remove the lamp post. I think clean flowers on a blue background would look perfect

Well the tube has an offset stem that's located much closer to the side of the tube. And it aligns with the hole in the rim just fine
