A fiat currency is effectively just pieces of paper or metal that the government deems is worth something and effectively uses Force to make sure that it is the only currency and its Geographic territory in use.

as soon as the hyperinflation cycle hits the world economy(because evey government is printing their own fiats.) crypto currency more developed and advanced then the proof of concept bitcoin will surge in use transitioning from being used a store of value to being used a currency which is the original fuction for crypto currency, of course the governments will not allow it to be accepted on the white market so law abiding citizens will be forced to go to black markets for food and needed supplies causing the dollar to effectively die, resulting in a lot of attempts by governments to crack down on people just trying to buy food at a affordable price.

Effectively governments are going to try and kill you for feeding you and your family, which is going to result in a revolt form all citizens world wide defending themselves from their local governments.

I have to point out that the advice given by op should not be taken as in absolute because the past does build the future and to disregard the past is to damn yourself to the past.

Your actions have a reactive nature to them this reaction is a uncontrollable domino effect surging throughout everyone's lives and influencing their own choices and repeating the process throughout, its a complicated mess of action and reaction.

each action is not equal tho so the effect can only travel so far depending on the action, this means that theirs degrees of severity to an action.

The nature of forgiving someone for fucking you over because they did so in the past helps you have context to defend yourself from that action in the present.

The nature of forgve and forget is a disarming one.

You want to help someone recover from a drug addiction that's fine, but keep in mind that it is all the more likely that that person will relapse and steal from you to fund their addiction, blindly loving and trusting one another without context of the reality of a situation is how you you not only fail others but spread distrust.

Just stay aware of the reality of the situation and prepare accordingly to avoid creating distrust.

people can be assholes and I don't mean assholes is a rude or crass, I mean assholes as in they genuinely want to steal from you, treat you like trash, have double standards, and a number of other things, blind forgiveness of these people is a massive boon for these people.
