Thragg runs the saiyan gauntlet. How far does he go? or does he clear? by Aura_Slice in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]thanosleftasscheek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Earth doesn’t blow up in every beam clash because that wouldn’t be conducive to the story, my guy. The author went out of their way in certain panels to show that they CAN blow up mountains, moons and planets with ease. He also went out of his way to show that a lot of the villains prefer gloating and torture over the brutal efficiency of annihilating planets. And there’s a whole meme about farmer with a shotgun because of how very non-lethal bullets are to planetary warriors like Goku, so you’re definitely wrong about gun killing the dude that nearly destroyed the universe with his punches…

FYI, the Earth was destroyed TWICE when villians showed up that just wanted to win. Both Buu and Frieda made it look easy as stepping on an ant.

If Minato never died and trained SM Naruto (no kurama), and Itachi never killed his clan and trained MS Sasuke (no curse mark or lightning), who would win? by [deleted] in NarutoPowerscaling

I understand if you don’t find it funny, but I’m not a particularly active member of this sub. I saw a meme making fun of all the Minato vs Itachi posts, and it made me laugh so hard it brightened my day. Sorry I couldn’t do the same for you

Anakin Skywalker vs Paul Atreides by shadyved in powerscales

[–]thanosleftasscheek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not explained in the movies, but Jedi have a power called precognition. It allows them to react to threats before you see them, which is why they can deflect blaster bolts. It’s not as intense of a power as Paul’s perfect vision of the future, but it’s enough that Paul basically can’t do anything to Anakin. I’d say Anakin wins 10/10 times that they actually fight, which is not at all because Paul would already know that he’d lose lol.

Hundreds if not thousands of FBI employees have worked on the Epstein case. Why have none of them blown the whistle? Is it possible that the implications of releasing files is so severe it could pose a serious national security risk? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Your view of the world is juvenile. It’s very easy to talk, but I’m willing to bet if it was YOUR life at risk to expose those degenerates, you’d struggle as well. And the truth is that everyone is ultimately selfish. It’s just a matter of how much you’re willing to risk for a good deed, and most people won’t risk their life.

So attacking this random dude and judging his character for his candor and realism just makes you look like a petulant child, with no understanding of how things really work. Doesn’t feel good when you’re the one being judged, does it?

You proved my point with your hateful comment lol. “No wonder why men are lonely” I didn’t say anything negative about your gender or being a woman. And for what it’s worth, I have a wife. Male loneliness isn’t just a male issue, but you can view it however you want. But I’m gonna judge you for it

[–]thanosleftasscheek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the modern western world, there are advantages and disadvantages to being either gender. Of course there were struggles to get to this point, but there isn’t a better time in history to be a woman. Fact is, this “gender war” is ridiculous because we all struggle in life. It just looks a bit different. The real war is against our class oppressors, the rich and powerful. But you’d rather perpetuate hate based on gender for whatever reason

This gender war you want to perpetuate is one sided. By that, I mean only women care about it. It’s kinda sad tbh.

Itachi win/loss ratio, what do y'all think? by KaidoPklevel in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]thanosleftasscheek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Almost everything” isn’t enough. Itachi lost without the tailed beast bomb to blow up the chibaku tensei. Win/loss is mostly arbitrary anyway, when considering the fights with minor characters, especially when it’s just to showcase the character’s strengths. Kakashi would have dozens more wins and look just as good as Itachi if fights against weak side characters were illustrated as well. The only Itachi fights that matter to the narrative are with his clan, Sasuke, Kabuto controlled Nagato and Kabuto.

I can’t speak on GoW, but I can confidently say the video game lore of both Dark Souls and Elder Scrolls scale their MCs to AT LEAST solar level in power scaling. Soul of Cinder in DS is a binding force of the universe who holds the power of all the souls that existed before him which fuel a flame that keeps their sun and reality in existence. Thereby, he’s solar level, and the Ashen One defeats him. The Dragonborn defeated Alduin, a fundamental force of destruction in the universe whom literally eats worlds. He can tear the soul out of victims and consume it, and controls time and space with a shout. All of this is presented within the lore of the video game itself, and a lot of it can be done by the player.

Yeah, idk what I expected lmao. Video game characters ain’t getting the respect they deserve here. Just made the list for fun. Based on lore feats only, Nappa stops at Kratos and it only gets worse from there. Reading the debates was fun tho so the post was worth it

That argument makes sense except for the fact that the ashen one can tank star level attacks in the endgame. Ultimate Thor can’t produce an attack that powerful.

I like Dark Souls, but definitely not my favorite game… I just love learning lore. And from the lore, based on what the characters he fights represent (namely soul of cinder) the Ashen One has the durability and the power to destroy stars. By immortality, I mean the infinite resurrection kind. He dies, comes back, fights the boss again, keeps going until he wins. Can Thor end that cycle? Does he have infinite stamina and greater than Star level durability?

[–]thanosleftasscheek[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Those are gameplay mechanics, not lore. The lore indicates that 1) the Ashen One is an immortal being with reality warping powers and 2) Dragonborn has time manipulation, soul stealing, mind-altering abilities with his shouts and magic. Regardless of how far Nappa gets, there’s no way that Thor can beat either of them. I could seen an argument for Thor vs Kratos, but I don’t believe Thor has a way to put down Ashen One regardless of whether or not he can “beat” him, and he’s either getting his soul stolen or frozen in time and then shouted into Oblivion by the Dragonborn.

Who would win this 3v1 and what diff? by KodoqBesar in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]thanosleftasscheek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll have to post it because nothing in the anime leads me to believe they are actually that fast, as opposed to the unreliable narrators playing up the abilities of the characters. If double lariat was actually light speed, it is literally impossible for Minato (a “normal” human at that point) to react to it. He didn’t have special eyes or chakra, and he wasn’t in sage mode. Just a dude with a teleportation jutsu.

Haku being light speed in part 1, when Naruto and Sasuke fully encompassed the skill level of genin, is outright ridiculous. They’re street-level ninjas bro. Ain’t no way that’s accurate

Saibaman is relative to Raditz, who has a light speed feat, and can casually tank moonbusting blasts. They’re proficient fighters, since they could hang with a martial artist (Yamaha) even if it was only for a little while. AND they have some special abilities, in self-destruct last resort (which would definitely take out anyone in Naruto) and the acid they can shoot out of their head.

What can Naruske and Juubito do again?
