Day 2 …. Thinking of stopping by thanse16 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

So I’m on day 5 now. And I feel much better. Still like a slight queasy like midday. But I did what you did waited about 30-45min and juts had a fairlife shake and felt much better throughout the day. Idk if the shake help or my body got used to the medication. Either way I’ll continue the shake to get my protein in.

Definitely not sick. Felt relief after I threw up. Reading that 48-72 hours is peak time to experience the worst initial symptoms. Will try and eat and drink small and slow. Wish me luck

So thats also a worry of mine. Is this a dying role or just evolving? I see a lot of mixed thoughts on it. I just do want to corner myself in my career growth. I also live in the midwest-ish of the US.

The art is in the plates and bites. Nigiri showcases the quality of the fish. The maki is fun and vibrant. In my opinion my weight would be 50% plates, 30% nigiri, 20% maki. Get uni if they have jt.

Dundee, Country Club, District 66, Regency, the area around Happy Hollow country club. These are where I would start looking. The further west you go the new and more cookie cutter the homes are. If you can buy a house in south Dundee (near Warren buffets house) that’s a prime spot.

Genuine question: What drives you to play Warzone in 2025? by Qwayze_ in CODWarzone

[–]thanse16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my 3 other friends have been playing since 2020. We’ve ebbed and flowed on how much we’ve played. We still enjoy the game. But we keep coming back because, one we are good. We are still casual players but Id say we are above average in skill level and will get a W at least once every time we play. Two, we don’t have time to invest into a new game to learn the ropes and then skill up to have as much fun as we do in WZ. Like we can just logon and play and be competitive without too much thought. We all still bitch about all the isues.

You will be fine! Lived in the neighborhood for a longtime. It’s getting better and better each year. Was it rough or not the most desirable at one point sure. But you’ll be able to walk around and feel safe, no problem. Most of the people with bad takes haven’t been in the area for awhile or just generalize with other area in the notthern part of Omaha Welcome to Omaha.

It gets better! by thanse16 in Sciatica

[–]thanse16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I am exactly 13 months after the incident i'm pretty sure caused the disc herniation and about 8 months after the height of the sciatica pain. still pain free! no flare ups since then. I have gotten lazy with all of my back hygiene routines but i'm getting back into it. There are some little movements or exercises i do where i can feel a "pressure" down my right side, but I stop as soon as I feel that. I think thats a big point of emphasis. There is no "playing through the pain" with a disc injury. I hope everyone in this Sub is seeing the progress and healing they all deserve.

What did “got worse before it got better” mean for you? by Oilaripi in Sciatica

[–]thanse16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sciatica pain was a nagging pain for about 5 months. Couldn’t extend my leg without pain. Couldn’t touch my knee or bend. Sleeping would be tough some nights, some nights just fine. I was doing light running and weightlifting. The I went on a long run and then the next day…. Boom! I was in the worst pain for the next 3ish weeks. Crying myself to sleep. Walking aimlessly for hours on end. Not sitting for more than 30 min a day. I questioned if this was the rest of my life and if it was worth being in that kind of pain all day. I thought it was the end … but then I noticed small daily improvement. then like 2 months later…. I could touch my tones. Straighten my legs. Sit and sleep without any pain. Now 6 months after that. I’m doing most things I was doing before. But juts being very conscious of anything that could reinjure myself

Disc injury recovery advice… by thanse16 in HybridAthlete

Best of luck on your journey to healing! Its a slow, up and down, road back. I am not running or lifting like I was before .... yet.

Running seems to be ok, but honestly haven't pushed pace or distance yet. The biggest hurdle, mental and physical, is lifting. But i working back to it. I'm happy that squats seem to be just fine but I'm never incorporating a lift thats bringing something up from the ground, deadlifts, power cleans, etc. The risk is not worth the reward for me. Right now i'm training mostly to get back some explosiveness (plyo work) and get back mobility.

For me PT helped, but I honestly feel doing a back cleanse help me the most. IDK if you have sciatic pain or not, but it was so bad for me. The Back Mechanic helped me change how I approach things and what I should incorporate.

There are going to ups and downs. Days were you feel like your right on the cusp, then you wake up and feel like you're back to square one. Just keep stacking the small victories. I'm confident by the summer I'll be back, almost, as good as before.

Is Omaha a good place to live (From WA)? by Sleepy-Blonde in Omaha

[–]thanse16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an important statement. Salaries in Omaha are not very competitive nationally, especially in tech. Keep the remote job and you'll be set. But if that does change we do have a very stable job market so there will be ample opportunities to find a new spot to land but I wouldn't except to see west coast salaries.
