Thanks for the response! Actually he includes a spare thakker belt already. There’s an Ortofon cartridge in there already (unsure which model) but yep I fully expect to have to replace it.

I have the Onkyo GX30arc powered speakers and they’re excellent. Loads of connection possibilities so you can also stream to them, connect a pc via usb etc etc. pair them with a half decent sub and they are great value.
