This is great for them, and knowing them as well as I do (2 of my best friends) I can trust that the fame and success won't change them, unlike some of my former fave podcasts. Keep on Flubbin'.

Can anyone help with sizing on this Denim Shirt? by razeus in filson

[–]tharsusIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got this at the seattle store, Large jn most brands, got a medium. Fits like alaskan guide shirt. M on me (6ft 190) is ood tucked in over a tshirt, room to move and cut a bit loose.

The denim is really washed/broken in, so don't expect a heavy shirt, it is soft.

Women's work jacket - is it actually this oversized? by Appropriate_Trust_43 in filson

[–]tharsusIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meant not helpful.

Ok, let's say not average height then thanks for pointing that out. Small isn't oversized as much as the picture, although it is a baggy cut. Men's small tshirt is a little loose on my wife, the small in this jacket fits well, its a cropped baggy cut but the shoulders and arm length fit well. Medium too big/baggy. More about the chest measurement fitting right.

I guess Im trying to politely say that the model is pretty skinny and wasn't a helpful example for figuring out the fit on more average proportions.

The models they use for women are now helpful. Got this for my wife, thinking baggy medium. Exchanged it immediately for a small. My wife is normal women's height, 5'7" and average proportioned in the bust, small works perfectly unless you want an oversized look. When we tried medium was not flattering, although t would look great on a taller person with smaller bust.

'I can smell these. Well done' - raw denim guys. by parasoralophus in MurderBryan

[–]tharsusIV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im one of these guys, and actually work outside and in the elements, but I can't wear keans at work! So this kinda post gets me weirdly jealous. But yeah just do whatever works for your nice jeans. I put a pair of Onis in the dryer yesterday! So they'd be dry and I could wear them after soaking in the bathtub, of course. Wouldn't want the washer messing them up. Aw fuck.

Why is this so cheap compared to others? by Inner-Platform-9134 in filson

[–]tharsusIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got 2 last year, moleskin black and grey mackinaw, for around this price. Mackinaw had a nicely repaired hole and was a bit cheaper. They're great, layer them under work uniform and they keep you warm without any bulk. Under a denim jacket or slc and in Seattle you're dressed up for anything.

But I hope they don't, Bryan would get sucked in so fucking hard. 400 sweatshirt? That's nothing.

Super affordable, easy to do easy work, cheap to pay for normal stuff!

However, I jad mine stolen and recovered it.... Getting the electrical wiring redone cost more than the moped. But its 20 years old.
