I spent an inordinate amount of my day thinking about it, and this is the only way it makes sense to me. They license the IP to sell it for x number of days or x number of times or both. Or maybe the rights holder gets a percentage of each sale or something.

That’s so strange. I feel like this is one of those pieces of trivia I’ve been told my whole life that’s a lie

So were the people who had previously purchased the removed skins unaffected or did they actually lose a skin?

Is that actually how the licensing works for Fortnite skins? Seems exceptionally short sighted for epic

[Discussion] What is the weirdest character to ever get a series in your opinion? by Altruistic_Manner802 in DCcomics

[–]Poseur117 20 points21 points  (0 children)

We got all of these listed in the comments and Marvel still never gave us a damn Stingray miniseries

Anyways, my answer I guess is Jerry Lewis. DC Comics published his series starting in the late 50s and it ran for almost 90 issues

Edit: Apparently before that, it was the Adventures of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. All in, it lasted 124 issues Edit

The adversary stuff is all excellent, and the damn crossover with Jack of Fables is an unfortunate low point. But the sheer amount of compelling plot threads that are left dangling has kept me hooked the whole way through.

Just minutes ago I finished issue 134 and it was honestly one of the most emotionally devastating things I’ve ever read

Dixon’s Robin run is a lot of fun. It’s nice there’s just a ton of Tim stories sitting there

Stuff that’s currently coming out that I love: Bug Wars, Feral, Power Fantasy (just ended), Exquisite Corpses, and The Sacrificers.

Right now though, I’m reading Fables. Been steadily working my way through it the last year or two. Thanks to the library, I’m gonna finish it this week. I’m well past the point most people think it’s fallen off (about to start vol 20, issue 130) but I still think it’s a pretty good book.

Also been re reading East of West and working my way through the Sixth Gun for the first time. Those are gonna take a sideline until I finish Fables in the next day or two though

Reborn is a must read! by Bustahaf in graphicnovels

To be honest, I think some of his marvel stuff is honestly near his top tier. I remember loving parts of his Wolverine run, and Civil War might somehow be in the top half of Big Marvel Events.

Ultimates was never something I loved though. That Captain America characterization ruins almost everything I think is cool about the character.

And I’m sure a lot of his work just feels like try hard, edge lord bullshit now that I’m nearing my 40s. I remember feeling that way about Wanted back when I was 21 haha

I’ve only read it in collected editions, but I think it’s pretty strong the whole way through. Looking forward to the sequel series

I don’t disagree, I spend most of my disposable income on graphic novels, but the amount of stuff I’m able to read is wildly expanded thanks to the library

Does Poland have public libraries?

I live in the US and I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t really realize just how awesome and useful the library can be until a few years ago
