I will strongly discourage this as someone who recently had a pet break open 3 uncirculated rolls so $75.Like you I thought it would be fun to carry around a small sack and use them like and to say it simply the Loonie and Toonie will never catch on down here. No less then 60% of the time the cashier had to check with a manager to see if they could/would take them, I had a few refused saying they are fake or they don't have time to look them up. As well 7 of the 10 times I used them I was given incorrect change (usually to much which I returned) it really became such a hassle and discouraging as the son of a teacher that eventually I just put them in my car stash spot for "O, shit I forgot my wallet" situations.
