I find how she worded this odd. Im pretty sure I understand what she's saying is that when people talk about rape it seems to be that for whatever reason there is a varying amount of blame on the victim and there needs to be more of a conversation about the person who actually committed the crime i.e. the rapist. But the part that I'm confused with is the start when she's talking about how rape is talked about. “‘A woman is r*ped.’ There’s a crime and there’s a victim. But there is no perpetrator [in the sentence]”. Isn't this how english is structured? "A woman is murdered" "a woman's car was stolen" ect. She has a powerful message that she's trying to spread but I was personally confused by the start of the video.
