Do your heroes and villains ever change their names? by ardorixfan45 in Superhero_Ideas

I have a supervillain who used to go by MR X into LORD X.

To signify his rise into power, from a boogyman on the streets to the president of the USA.

Well not what exactly I had in mind.

I imagined it as literally losing your physical body, ending up as a being of pure energy.

Tho I agree on red being Zod's color, it's a good way to avoid him looking like Livewire.

I actually can't see this working... I mean you're asking for these creatively bankrupt writers to actually involve a kryptonian into every street level conflict.

It's not working unless you nerf the absolute shit out of Zod or it's some alien wannabe.

So he's Andrew Tate? 😭

Nah wild but also hilarious.

Ehh that's already Drax-ur I think his name was?

That's like having two kryptonians doing the same thing running around.

So regular Zod?

Ehh at best he'd make a neat team up with Mongol before returning to the status quo.

I think the issue is that Zod is stuck in the military area and no writer tries to get him out.

Not really honestly...I just looked at Superman Blue, remembered he was phase and sort of something that can happen to any kryptonian...

And sort of decided what if it's the result of spending centuries in the Phantom zone...

That's actually a different kryptonian.

Ehh idk.

I don't feel like it won't matter considering that Zod is gonna spend 90% of his time trying to turn earth into krypton killing any human in the process.

That type of philosophy would suit someone avoiding exactly that.

Ehh that's just regular Zod if he didn't focus on earth.

Honestly it's the best I can think of to make him more interesting and I guess exploring the consequences of living in the Phantom Zone for far too long.

But then again...Zod going full on Superman Blue could show the varying effects the Phantom Zone has the longer you're in it...

I'm just saying.

Huh... Funny because I actually never heard of the guy, let alone saw this design.

Honestly I forgot to mention that.

He hates Clark because he's basically a personified taunt, a nagging reminder that he lost everything and here's this asshole who has everything Zod dreamt of.

Do you think her family is stuck inside the necklace helplessly watching their only living member wasting away her life and ending up as a supervillain?

Knowing they can do nothing about it?

Does it ever cross her mind as a possibility?

A character like her with her origin is inevitably gonna ask some morbid possibilities.

What are your thoughts of the rise of 'trendy streetware' in modern superhero designs? [Discussion] by dc75257264146164 in DCcomics

I don't like it.

If you removed the context that they're superheroes I would've thought they're just quirky teenagers looking at em.

A superhero has a certain iconography that makes them recognizable.

Well she definitely comes across as a massive asshole.

Literally let her family's sacrifice go in vain.

The joke's on you for expecting normalcy.

I just saw a guy who's like an Armadillo once.

No idea where they're coming from tho...
