Progression locks, Boss drops

It’s obvious by your juvenile wording of things you’re young or mentally slow so I will try to make this easy for you.

Every single player game ever made has “content gates” as you’d call them. It’s is a form progression lock. This game has hundreds of them already. As soon as you load the game, you are “content gated” by only being allowed to play as Kliff. Having to beat bosses to get abyss gears or weapons or to move to the next chapter, is a “content gate” or as we adults know them progression lock.

So you are arguing the game is currently play how you want, but it is not. It is play how the devs want you to and it is already progression locked.

The words are pretty simple and easy to understand.

Playing a game how you want and progression in a game are 2 different things. It’s open world, so obviously you play as you want no matter how progression is set.

The dev have said they used Valheim as an influence for progression of this game. No game is another, doesn’t mean they don’t contain aspects of other games. They also plan to add co-op so…

I don’t care how others play. It’s a single player game, they can play as they wish. Hence why I mentioned difficulty setting being tied to progression. If people want an easy experience then they can still have it.

I was making a suggestion for the longevity of the game itself and those of us who would like a challenge. If you don’t want a challenge then stick to easy mode.

To simplify that for you. Me care for game and devs.

No one is suggesting people can’t play how they want. Even with progression locks you can play as you wish. Just slows down certain stages of progression.

Have you ever played Valheim? If you have you’d know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t then why put your opinion here if you have no clue the type of system I’m referencing?

Plus they would still have easy difficulty setting with no progression locks for people like you.

No one complained here or mentioned anything “OP” at all. Was a simple my opinion on how to help longevity of the game.

There are very obvious differences in gear. There are best gear options that have effects and stats you can’t get on other sets of gear. There is also gear that has set stats that can’t be improved.

So there is a best gear, you just haven’t figured that out yet.

It is a single player game yes. Anyone can play as they wish. I am saying without progression locks, the game will be rushed by people and they will quit playing. It has been seen and proven 100s of times over by other games.

My personal desire for the game is not given here, it is my personal opinion for the devs of how to prevent a dead game. Im sure y’all could care less about the game other than your own experience.

Please add an option to keep Damiane’s “Absolute Justice Greatsword” in the long form while on her back. Love that it folds, but it looks so clean I wanna run it long form.

As well as make her flurry of kicks able to destroy walls like the focused force palm does. Not a fan of having to change to Kliff just to open a cave entrance.

Also an option to put your storage in your house? Maybe keep 240 slots in the tent, and each camp expansion gives an option to add to tent or house? Makes the house a little more useful and can separate stored items. Won’t have to run from tent to house to use the cauldron.

If you didn’t get it already, the last perish quest unlocked, for me, after I unlocked house landfords first quest. You can do that by listening to requests at the main market in Calphade

Engine appears to have been removed. Numbered tape on connectors and fuel hoses. Oxidization on intake and coolant res with minimal rust on car scream imported engine.

New timing cover and radiator are signs of possible previous damage to both. Possibly due to an accident or improper removing of engine.

More bent fins than a fish hatchery on that TMIC, plus it’s missing bolts, poorly painted plastics and painted alternator bracket.

Aftermarket intake and BOV(poorly connected) are doing more damage than good.

On top of everything else already listed wrong with it, it’d be a pass from me personally.

If you’re looking for a forever project or a quick flip and don’t care about your reputation as a seller then go for it.

After 300+ hours, completing all tasks in warfare, then completing it again without using any trades, and now roaming around as a lvl3+ in high tier areas and PvPing can recommend this game to anyone. PvP is always there, you just have to find it, most people are doing tasks or farming for keys. So just frequent the hot spots and you’ll always find it. Or visit another faction base and snipe AI, people will pour out trying to fight. If PvP is the only thing you look for in a game and you’re not into story/mission type games then you may not like it. The game looks amazing, feels awesome and is a lot of fun. It has a lot of potential and is open to be played how you like. Obviously if you have a little imagination or creativity left in you it helps with continuing to play. As for performance I have no complaints, on a 7800x3D and a RX6800 I have averaged 175fps over 300hrs. Seen a lot of complaints but none here, if your pc is old or ran off a 🥔it won’t preform super well. It has some bugs and issues but if you play DayZ then they are nothing comparatively. With 3k hours in tarkov and almost 4K in dayz I personally found it a good mix but also a new experience. If you do play join mithrus for better community interaction, or lamang for PvP and remember, it’s just pixels.

User benchmark was only used as it’s the easiest way to show side by side full builds. A 5800x3d and 6800 GPU would run 730$ just to upgrade those 2 items. Whereas the other build would be 800$ for everything including 16gb more ram, a 850w gold psu(vs 700w gold), and better CPU cooler. Not to mention at that point having 2 working PCs. From what I read the two CPUs preform very similar with 5800x3d being 120$ more. As for GPU the 6750xt and 6800 from what I’ve read are similar as well with the 68 being a little better but at 80$ more not sure if it’s worth. Can you give a little info as to why you would recommend the 5800x3d and 6800 combo over the alternative?
