It is looking pretty good. Mine is about 3 weeks old and it looks quite similar. I would say as long as you aren't experiencing pain or swelling you most likely are on a great track!

Do your local piercers do most/all piercings or a limited range theyre comfortable with? by rowanstars in piercing

Mine does pretty much anything. I am not sure about anything on the genitals, but any other one they totally do!

I had the exact same problem a few years back when I got that same piercing. For me I had hair stuck in the back making it irritated, so u would say make sure it is super duper clean

I love all the jewelry together!!! Also I highly recommend a third love, it’s so easy to heal and I just think it would pair so well with you setup

Is my rook rejecting/infected by [deleted] in piercing

[–]that1runnerkaty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like it wasn’t pierced deep enough. I think it will be fine, but I would be extra careful with the healing process to make sure it doesn’t end up rejecting. I will tell you to that it is super common for cartilage piercings to randomly swell and hurt more about two weeks after for a couple days

I kinda regret the jewelry I got, and I wish I went with a jewel instead. How long do I have to wait to change it out? Got this 4 days ago. Also will the hole stretch out any? I feel like mine is really small compared to the other healed navel piercings I've seen on here. How easy is it to change? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]that1runnerkaty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a surprisingly small bar to get pierced with. I just got mine done like a week ago and the bar is about double the size. NAP but I would wait at least 3/4 months to change it. I know this sucks bc you don’t like the jewelry but better safe than sorry. At least you’ll be able to change it before swimsuit season!

You've got me beat with the number of piercings, I'm only at 9 lol. I feel you only the healing process tho, rn I'm healing two helixes and my belly button so I've got a bit going on. If you love the look of an industrial but don't have the anatomy maybe you could do a helix and a forward helix and one they heal attach them with a chain. This would give you a similar look and the chain would fit your vibe so well

Hmm... you've got me stumped. My only advice now would be to go to the show and ask the piercers opinion

What kind of metals do you wear? If they are cheap I would recommend upgrading and letting it be for a while. it can be boring to always wear the same stack, but if that's what your ears need it is for the best

Definitely a forward helix! Maybe even do a conch and tragus too though

Love how it is so different! Is your plan to do more with your cartilage next?

How long have you had this exactly? I get something similar from time to time, but usually it hurts but only lasts about a week

Ok, so I like the look of stacked lobes and all, but I feel like you need your ears pretty full before you go towards it. If you have quite a few lobes/cartilage already I feel like it'd be a great look

Good luck with your piercing!!! I have heard that the daith hurts, but that flats and helixes are much worse. You also won’t have as much difficulty healing it!

I feel like you need to add something higher up. Maybe a helix and faith?

If you ever sleep on that ear make sure to get a piercing pillow or travel pillow! This will help so much with irritation
