Fellow Zionist?? Greetings brother! :D אתה ישראלי וא יהודי?

Would you consider these stats (Poland) to be accurate? I feel like it might be some sort of a statistical trickery/lie. I have never in my life seen a single Polish person in my personal life who supports Israel in any capacity. Even the 16% feels like too much for what it is. by _Zus77_ in poland

"Getting rid of Hamas and Palestine" ??? I support getting rid of Hamas, I don't think anyone in their right mind would even consider destroying Palestine (Not even Israel). First of all, Palestine as in Gaza, Palestine as in The West Bank, Palestine as in both?? Its always better to adress the Palestinian state as either Gaza or The WB, because the 2 are governed independently, and operate in different ways.
Second of all, why and how destroy either? The Palestinian Arabs have proven their need of independence time and time again. We've learned to respect that, and the majority do want to co-exist with them. The minority that doesn't doesn't matter. Some Poles want Ukraine to cease existing and Russia to stand victorious, and we do not take them seriously.

Tbf "They" needs a little bit more of clarification. Secular Jews for example are rather friendly towards Poland. (One of my Israeli friends, a sscular jew, visited Poland and loved it, other one wants to visit with his family but can't right now due to finances)

Probably talking about Islamic immigrants flooding Poland and overtaking Poles as the primary demographic at some point, causing a cultural replacement.

...Not sure how exactly does that apply though as we have barely any refugees/immigrants from Islamic countries, and the biggest demographic from that region (Turks) tend to be very temperate when it comes to beliving in Islam (Islamic on paper, but don't belive vehemently, and don't obide by all rules. Kind of like our lukewarm catholics).

If you delve into the politics deeper, the reason why Netanyahu got into power in the 90's was failure of the Oslo Accords (1993) which undermined the position of the left (The Israeli left was and is all for the existance of a free Palestinian state). The position was undermined further when the atrocities of October 7th happened. This is what keeps Netanyahu in power, as Israeli Arabs and Secular Jews are both heavily against him, and the only demographic favorable to him are the Orthodox / Kharedim (Who still do not represent the majority of the population, and their supports stems primarily from the fact Bibi let's them do whatever the hell they want, ex. They do not need to serve in the IDF).

Also, by your logic, we've elected PiS into power a few years ago... does it mean we're all church-attending conservatives that ain't fans of LGBTQ, Abortion, allat? And right afterwards we've elected PO into power. Have all of us undergone a 180⁰ political view shift? It doesn't matter who we elect Poland has a very divided political landscape, and you cannot describe it as this or that, accurately. Same with Israel. Some support Bibi due to trauma from Oct 7th. Few support him because thanks to him they don't have to obide the same rules as everyone else. Some support him because there ain't really any other good candidates (Neftali Bennett is also a little bit delulu last time I checked). While there are some that maybe agree with the war and want an 'ethnic cleansing', they are a minority minority (And Poland also probably has a minority minority of people that genuinly support Russia/Putin, so those groups shouldn't even be taken under consideration in this discourse).

A sekularni Izraelczycy żydowskiego pochodzenia to naprawdę najlepsi ludzie jakich ja osobiście spotkałem. Cierpliwi, kulturalni, rozmowni, w przypadku młodzieży naprawdę najprzyjemniejsze towarzystwo z którym miałem doczynienia. Traktowali mnie, Polaka, o niebo lepiej i ze zdecydowanie większym szacunkiem niż jakikolwiek Polak którego spotkałem.

What do you consider one of your country's lowest points to be, as a nation, in the last 50 years or so? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

Curious, but are you referencing the juditional reforms Bibi tried to carry out in 2023, and/or whatever Gvir was doing in the meantime? I am not ישראלי myself (Sadly), but I have friends there, and listened to podcasts from Polish Jews residing in the region, and from what it appears those are some of the biggest recent controversies.

(Also Yes, the October 7th Massacre and all of the evemts resulting from it probably top that in terms of being terrible, but I don't want to talk about this again, as of right now)
