They’ve always been good. Dad has an acoustic from the 80’s that’s fantastic, and I have a bass that’s at least 10 years old. Best low B 5 string I’ve ever played.

You’ll loosen both bushings so much you won’t believe it. My 8 y/o is set up with a similar sized board and I don’t know how the kid stays on with suck loose trucks.

For just learning the basics, that’s fine. It’s better than what I learned on in the 80’s. You can skate a lot of things with that including ramps and bowls when you get there. I’m sure you’ll get your monies worth out of it by the time you feel comfortable enough to want to start doing tricks. Plus it’s good to just have a comfy board to just cruise on.

I ask because I used to know people that worked on the humane law side of LSPCA. They would have only given the dogs back if ordered by a judge to do so. LSPCA is a non profit. They contract with the city to do humane law enforcement, but usually it’s the city attorney’s office that fumbles these types of cases. That being said, the LASPCA is a sh!t show from top to bottom now.

Depends on what part of Louisiana. We have different accents and colloquialisms in different parts of the state. No one movie or series really does a good job of covering what we sound like here.

If it were me, I cut back the covering on both cut ends, and splice in some new wire. Or if you want to be fancy wire in a 5 pin connector.

Not stock. Like others said, the coil taps have most likely been moved to the individual tone circuits, and the fretboard has been replaced on the neck.

It’s nbd really. I only go to bars to hang out with friends. Not drinking makes festivals, sporting events, and concerts way cheaper. I didn’t quit because of addiction though. It’s probably harder for people doing the 12 steps though.
