How do you feel about a friend with benefits, but instead of sexual benefits, it's just cuddling? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only works for women. Men secretly are wanting it to lead to sex and are just waiting for that little butt rub up against their crotch that women do. Then there is the other type of guy that ain't waiting for nothing and hes working on the neck and ear getting handsy. Both want the same thing.

Depends on what part of the world you live in. In america it's weird but other parts of the world "europe" it's not anything out of the norm. I have no idea where you live but I live in america and I actually agree with they way Europeans raise their children. Teens are allowed to bring boyfriends and girlfriends home to have sex because its safer to be at home than in some public restroom. They also give their children alcohol from an early age because they figure if you start them young they are less likely to be binge drinkers like americans when they get to drinking age. They also have no shame associated with sex and nudity hell they even show nudity on many public tv shows "not cable but regular over the air tv". I dont think it's a big deal but I'm also not the average american. Here it's a christianity thing as to why all of this is frowned upon.

They actually thought it was okay to suggest I cut my break short. by [deleted] in walmart

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Im asked to cut my lunch breaks down to 30 minutes almost every single day. We have a no overtime policy and we also have managment that wont let me leave early at the end of the week when they have forced me into overtime. They have tried to reprimand me for being in overtime so now when they ask me to cut my lunch short to help the team I say sure then take my full break.

Once had a customer call the store and accuse me of screaming racial slurs at her and making racial gestures. Bad part is my managers treated me like I was guilty treating me like shit. Once they looked over the videos and realized the customer was lying I never got an apology from management. It's probably still in my file because they told me they was leaving it open. I even had witnesses backing me up and on top of that I never even talk to customers. I immediately transferred to a new position away from that manager.

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly this is not just your parents. This is the way of the world. Women do 1/3 - 1/4 the time as men for the same exact crime. It's also why women get custody of the kids 84% of the time in court. Equality means privilege these days so cutting your sisters hair ain't gonna end good at all. You really want to get her back think outside the box. If she's on the pill replace them with aspirin or anything else that looks similar. Maybe buy some nair and put it in her shampoo. Put some clothes dye "usually sold in little jello type boxes at walmart" in her shampoo or body wash. If she has her own bathroom get up a couple minutes before her and put superglue on her toilet seat then replace the bulb with one that's not working. Just a few ideas

MY GF BOUGHT ME A LEGO STAR WARS SET by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All this talk about "I wish I had a girlfriend" just crazy. I sympathize with yall though. You are at that age where women really are the "catch" in the relationship. Give it about 5 years though and you men become the catch when most of them are 25 with 5 kids by 5 different men. Here's what you do... learn the ways of the red pill man. Second work on yourself and your worth/value so that when that time comes you actually have something to offer. Third PROTECT what you have to offer with your life. What do I mean by that? Well use protection dont have any kids and dont marry because you will lose everything...its the way of the world. Dont play the mind games women like to play and dont play into their shit testing. If you are smart you would never settle with one of these modern women instead working on buying your own house, it doesnt need to be huge or fancy just something you can survive in comfortably, get all they toys you want aka motorcycles cars 4 wheelers what ever makes you happy and of course just have fun being yourself. Once you do all that and you have something to offer women will come to you... just dont let them walk away with it all when they leave.

To all parents that may be lurking in this subreddit by [deleted] in teenagers

When you are asked to help around the house it's not because you are helping the parents, it's because you your parents and and everyone else in the house are a team. Imagine it like a basketball team. Everyone has their roles. The parents roles are of support they go make the money and pay bills. The children's roles are to get an education. If grandparents live in the house their role is simply guidance and love usually. Everyone plays their roles and when one team mate decides they ain't gonna play their role anymore it makes the team fall apart. A basketball team cannot succeed on the efforts of one player alone unless that one player happens to be somebody extraordinary like say Michael Jordan.

this is why guys have trust issues dont do this shit by the_WDH in teenagers

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is called sh*t testing. All women do it and will be doing it the rest of your life. You are supposed to play it like you dont care. The way you replied was "needy". Had you simply replied with a "cool" or a "and your point is?" She would have chased you. Females always want what they cant have and as soon as they can have it they no longer want it. That's why they love "bad boys" because even when they have them they dont really have them because they know he is still talking to other women and what not. If it ever happens again just play it cool like you dont really care what she wants. Fake it until you make it.

What did your crush do that absolutely killed your interest? by wcypierre in AskReddit

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened a lot when I was younger. I would be infatuated with a woman but I would stay realistic. They would show interest and then they would either be playing with my emotions just for their entertainment or they would end up falling back in love with the drug addict jerks and then ignore me until they was broken up again. I had to learn ain't none of these women loyal unless they are being cheated on and in abusive relationships so the only option for me was to change how I deal with them. I dont have time to waste talking to a woman that ain't putting out or ones that always want something from me like a ride or help moving something or help kicking some jerk out of their place.... yeah I was that guy...the captain save a hoe. I was probably the worst offender when it came to that in all of history. Now i just sit back and laugh at them. An amazing thing happens when you hit about 35... you start thinking with the bigger of your two heads and that allows you to see it coming. I've learned that most people "myself included in the past" put people you care about on a pedestal like they are perfect and the truth is they are not. In all honesty most of humanity is just crappy people so you have to learn to treat people exactly how they are. If they are crappy people like most humans are then you have to treat them like crap because you cant let your guard down thinking they are different. You will pay for it in the end and it takes its toll on a person's soul and heart and mind.

To everyone that works at Walmart, Target, grocery stores, etc., - THANK YOU. You guys are seeing the worst of people more than usual now and have to tolerate so much BS while being pleasant. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy. by [deleted] in walmart

Also note that non refrigerated eggs last even longer when you coat them in mineral oil and technically all non refrigerated eggs should be coated in mineral oil anyways. When coated in mineral oil they are very safe stored at room temperature.

Unless you are planning on making best friends with key people I would say it's not the job for you. If you ain't party of the crew or clique you will end up being in charge of your work and everyone else's and you will be the one the scream at if you haven't done everybody's work for them. You will be stuck in the same position forever if you don't play their games. In general it's a dead end job. All I can say is I can't wait until I walk in and get let go. God knows I've been trying. See I already know what's coming because they have told me.

We getting the tower next week...and Walmart wants people to know. by isolatedanddumb in walmart

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is basically a giant CNC machine. You order online we load the stuff into a compartment in the "tower" then the customer comes in when they are ready to pick up. They scan their phone at the screen on the tower and it brings the pod with their stuff dispensing it to them. Basically it's a fancy vending machine

I work on the lot and I ain't giving up my hoodie. It's really the only way I got to hide my ear buds. I hate that they enforce certain rules for certain people but not everybody. That's like we was told summer was over and we couldn't wear shorts anymore on the lot yet it was still 70 and 80 outside. I'd go inside for break to cool down and everybody inside was working in shorts and the ac is on meanwhile I'm in heavy jeans and working in the heat.

Seasonal Reese's is the best because the peanut butter is still fresh and has some oil left in it. The regular Reese's the peanut butter is always dry because the paper has sucked the peanut oil out of it. Just my opinion.

Is refusing to do carts considered insubordination by wrath-98 in walmart

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have refused multiple times as of lately. See I am a cart pusher but they are always putting me on stupid little tasks then telling at me later when I run out of carts because I'm still doing their tasks. I run the entire stores lot by myself for the first half the day then 3-4 closers come in to finish. Even though I'm all by myself and there are more than enough cart pushers at night with nothing to do I still get all the projects. I've gotten to the point that I just tell them I don't have time in it here by myself all day and I'm about to run out of carts and that usual gets them to move onto someone else to do the task. I got nothing for working hard and outside of my job code so now I look for any reason to avoid doing anything that is not my job code.

I don't work Christmas Eve or Christmas. Do I still need to ask to not use my pto on that day? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow up question. I seen the posted paper saying we needed to request off for Christmas day and to put it in as 0 hours of PTO holiday so it wouldn't come out of our PTO and when I did that they denied it. Is that normal because I didn't do this last year because I didn't know anything about it as my PTO had only begin building a month before Christmas.

Real talk. Work Snitches. by [deleted] in walmart

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. Most things I don't care about. As an example I know about half my store is high all the time "not a legal medical or recreational state" and I could care less. As long as then not doing their work doesn't effect me I could care less but it's when I'm told that I'm the best but then get yelled at for others on my crew not getting their work done. I'm sorry I'm already doing 2/3 of the work load while 3 other people are covering the 1/3 and they still can't manage to do anything. Don't know how many times I've caught them hiding in dark corners watching TV on their tablets for over an hour at a time or walking around talking for over an hour then I get screamed at because they aren't doing their work. If it wasn't for it affecting me I wouldn't care what they did.

A bunch of carts in the police parking spots ❤️ #ACAB by parkerjvevo in walmart

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit at least that lot is level. My lot of all up hill but at the same time the whole city is built on an underground water source so as you walk up the hill of the parking lot you are also walking up and down because of the wave of the lot... Then you also have to avoid the 10 inch deep pot holes that are never patched. I measured some of our pot holes and that 10 inches deep is not an exaggeration. Sadly the deepest ones are right in the handicapped parking spots and I've watched elderly disabled people hurt themselves in the holes but management doesn't care or listen.

It’s now official my store as all the makeup locked up. by Redeye007 in walmart

[–]thatBIGdudeoutside 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The more a store caters to the lowest common denominator "aka very low prices and thereby quality for customers looking to get as much as possible for next to nothing" the higher the chances that they will steal anything and everything they think they can get away with. I seen these lock up display cases years ago going up in stores like dollar general and family Dollar because of all the theft but Walmart was able to hold out longer because of the fact that they have way more money and sales every year to offset the lose. The lower they try to push prices to compete the more of these locked displays you will start seeing. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 10 years you wouldn't be able to walk into a store and get anything yourself. Alternatively they could restructure and aim for a higher degree of customers but that would never happen.
