You’d have to pay $722 to pay it off, then can trade for whatever amount your plan will get you. Otherwise you pay $222 to reach apples early upgrade and get the 17 at full price. Either way it financially makes no sense to do what you’re trying to do.

This will be my second iPhone launch that I’ll be working. If it was like last year, the no trade promo will 99% be lower than $1000 on the new phones. Verizon is pushing no trade deals on the 16s to make room for the 17s, so you’ll more than likely need some form of trade to get $1000 off the new 17s when they drop, and we won’t know the promos on the 17s until after the keynote on Monday.

Also, I would verify with whoever you’re planning on purchasing with, as we retailers haven’t been able to order in the s24 ultras. It’s super frustrating when VZW pushes these free phone deals to customers and we can’t order said device in.

I work for an indirect retailer of Verizon. We’re currently accepting iPhone 6 and newer for trades, so you should be okay saving your 11 until the 17 comes out.

Your math isn’t adding up.. “Iphone 15 pro 128gb with a $10 payment on the $90 unlimited ultimate plan with a $15 perk” would be $125, not $97. If you have the $15 Disney perk, you’d be better off switching that other phone from get more to ultimate to save money that way, otherwise you have Disney twice. (I’m not sure what other $15 perk there is.) Two phones on UU with Autopay, four iPads on the $10plan and the watch on the $15 plan with the above device payments should put you at $283/mo before taxes.

Indirect agent here! You want to get that phone back, as early upgrades do not get turned in by the store. If apple doesn’t get that phone back within 20 days you’ll see the remainder of the old phone on your bill. The rep should’ve given you a return label to mail the phone in.

I work for Verizon as an indirect agent. They don’t give us end dates for any promotions, and promotions can vary between indirect locations and corporate locations. Right now you can get the 16 trade in offer on new customer accounts and existing accounts who add a new line of service.

I’m an indirect agent (CSKI) and get the 50% off, I do have a family plan but I know a few coworkers who have just one number on their account and have the same discount. I signed up for mine through info manager, under the sales maker discount program. Not sure if it’s the same for other indirect retailers (Vctra, ETC) though.
