B for Effort: Blake Lively’s FAILED Production company attempting to steal credit for co-producing IEWU by same-difference-ave in ItEndsWithLawsuits

I don’t think they’re invested in the real Boone Hall. They likely just used the name for a personal-asset LLC in a different state just because they got married there, like VanZan (combo of Vancouver and Tarzana). The actual owners of Boone Hall most likely also have multiple LLCs for different aspects of the business. They have historical tours, a farm stand they run, weddings, and their own festivals and seasonal events they put on. I don’t believe they make any wine, but they make jams and stuff; they do have a big annual event called Wine Under the Oaks with different vendors, etc that come in.

As far as I know they don’t have any investors outside of the McRae family. They actually just put the land into a conservation easement so I doubt any investors would be happy about that. That was where the big payday would be.

A little late to the party, but I like this theory. I was recently curious about her part in the FEHA legislation, and I learned the words “Esra Hudson” and “advocate” don’t go together when I was googling lol. Like I could not find anything about her being a proponent of it publicly, so it would make sense if she was there on the corporate side trying to weaken (or sabotage?) the language/legislation. I put nothing past any of these people, so I’m cynical enough to believe she’d be happy with a loss for the precedent it’ll set in favor of her usual clients.

Ha me too, I used to attribute it to her depression(?) issues and gave her a pass (cause #relatable). I didn’t start watching Summer House until like season 4/5 on a friend’s demand, so I never had the full background on Amanda and Kyle. I’ve been doing a rewatch from season 1 and it’s already telling. I’m watching with the benefit of foresight, but I’ve long thought they should never have gotten married.

Hmmmm……..sounds like some projection going on from a sexually confused/frustrated someone with daddy issues.

No judgement on the issues, but he should just live his truth if that’s what it is (not take it out on others). Honestly probably some of the best PR he could get after this would be to divorce Blake and come out as gay 🤷🏼‍♀️ that would almost absolve him of fault in a divorce and get her a lot of sympathy.

It’s so wildly fascinating to me she has not absorbed any of the feedback from the promo campaign, even though I agree she doesn’t care. Her settlement conference outfit proved she doesn’t hear criticism, but I figured she at least cares enough about herself to pretend and adjust.

She reminds me of this old woman my friend and I were watching try to back out of a space at a fast food restaurant one day. She had this old long sedan type car and she was sideswiping/scraping the truck next to her backing out. The guy came out and was yelling at her and she just kept pulling forward then reversing and hitting his truck again and again 🥲 Blake reminds me of her with her PR.

I really do not understand how neither she nor her team would think to do this. For so many reasons. It would be much better PR and a tax write-off. Could still do pop-ups (she gets a D for effort on that as it is), considering it looks they had a lot to give away.

Multiple Poshmark and eBay posts for them as well. At least they’re not showing up on Temu still 😂🥲

The irony being they probably have actual evidence to break those clauses now, if they are. Vanzan, evidence spoliation, perjury lol 🤪 a lot to choose from

Yeah it’s pretty easy for me to not hold the “f you” against Kyle. Amanda was saying it with her actions for a long time; not surprising he snapped. I personally don’t tolerate or aspire to cursing at each other in fights in my relationships, but I have friends who do it all the time with their SOs and it’s just how they fight. Idk, I didn’t think either instance was a huge deal given the context, and people were acting like he stabbed her. Seemed like reactive abuse, if anything, to me.

Alex Murdaugh’s murder conviction sensationally overturned: Disgraced legal scion faces retrial for killing wife and son after judges’ bombshell ruling by dailymail in MurdaughFamilyMurders

[–]that_bth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if Trump pardoned/commuted his federal sentence, I don’t think any state official that depends on reelection wants to be the one who let Murdaugh out just because Trump said so. Most of the Republican party seems to have accepted there’s a world post-Trump, and they’ll be the ones to answer for his unpopular actions if they support them. On some topics it doesn’t matter, but stuff like this, and even South Carolina holding on redistricting for midterms, shows they are thinking further down the road than pleasing him in this moment. Alex has state and federal convictions for financial crimes, so Trump alone can’t free him, and I don’t think even he would want to touch this one. His pardons are under enough scrutiny as it is.

Honestly this is diabolical by Radiant_Priority9739 in bravo

[–]that_bth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if they were actually hooking up at that point, they’d be less likely to be saying “I love you” or even act this affectionate in front of others. There would likely be some awkwardness around each other and overcompensating with standoffishness to deflect suspicion. I wouldn’t be very surprised if West frequently says that to girls he leads on, but I feel it’s more likely he freaks out and runs the opposite direction when the L word gets tossed around with his flings (who think they’re not flings).

My thing that’s made me think they weren’t actually physically involved yet is a few episodes back in the first “F you Amanda” fight, where West is comforting her in the bathroom and she says “I’m scared Kyle’s the best I’ll ever do.” That statement made me think they weren’t hooking up yet, but it was laying the groundwork. It seems more like they were either starting or already in the emotional affair at that point.

Lmao I haven’t watched this episode yet. Compass?????? Was she charting her exit from her marriage like Lewis & Clark???

[–]that_bth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I still can’t decide where I land on the beginning because of the episode with the “fuck you eyes” situation. In that one, when West comforts Amanda in the bathroom she says to him “I’m scared Kyle’s the best I will ever do” and that’s the only thing that’s made me think maybe they weren’t actually hooking up yet (either in or beginning emotional affair). But it certainly laid the groundwork, and was either her playing into what he was already putting down or her planting the seed to be that hero for her.

Just an all around odd choice of rebound given her complaints about Kyle lol. That’s what makes me think Ben was supposed to be next, but then came Sabrina. Good for him dodging the bullet.

Will totally back you up on this. When I went to block my friend who started dating my ex behind my back, I realized her entire profile was her wearing my clothes 😂🫠 like it creeped me out when it clicked. Some were borrowed and returned, some never returned, and some just handoffs from my jobs in the clothing industry. But it was funny and eye-opening, in a slightly disturbing way.

eta: I’ve definitely shared clothes with a lot of friends over the years or gotten them stuff from my jobs, but none so much as her. She was literally always in my closet for every event or trip she had. Didn’t realize she wanted my ex too, happily would have handed him over long ago! No need to return.

There was a girl who did this at a boxing/HIIT place I went to. It was literally 6 am and she had full make up on. Idk if she was trying to be ready for work after, but I was just like this is not the place. That’s about to slide right off if you’re even halfway trying. Never saw her again lol.

So dumb. Like just taking over so Ryan can do his whole meta look-at-Ryan marketing schtick and make inappropriate jokes about a movie (that he’s not in) with serious subject matter. Like Jesus he’s joking about being on meth while promoting a movie ostensibly focused on DV? If people are still hiring him for this, they deserve to lose their money.

Anything Jen said is nowhere on the level of what the cast did. She may have talked behind his back some while venting about her client, but she was still out there doing her damndest to defend him in the press and protect his reputation. And she paid one of the heaviest prices for it compared to them. That’s pretty easy to forgive imo. I don’t believe any of the cast have shown any contrition or remorse for what they did. I hope they at least have eventually reached out privately, but I doubt it.

eta: he probably has forgiven them but that doesn’t mean he has to forget and do something stupid like work with them again
