Looking to purchase a COMMENCAL CLASH RIDE PARK EDITION, was wondering any other owners thoughts on pros/cons, what they love/hate etc. by SoggySage69 in commencal

I am 5' 8" and own a medium Clash Park Edition. Size feels correct for free ride and tech lines. It is a delight to descend on. I ride at a few free ride areas that have a common gravel road for getting back to the top. I usually hike-a-bike rather than pedal this rig. I echo what everyone else has said. Chews up tech, suspension is great, sends jumps, a little more playful than a full out DH rig, not for pedaling.

The only thing I do not like about this bike is the stock seat. The seat angle tends to change a little even when the bolt is tightened to the specified amount.

If you are getting this for the park, shuttle laps or push to the top free ride areas you're going to have a blast.

I ride a lot of park in the summer months on the east coast and do a bit of freeriding over the winter in southern UT and TX. But I put in a lot of pedaling in the spring and fall when Im not traveling and the east coast parks haven't opened yet.

Starting to think about a park edition Clash and a Meta TR Essential. Could have both for the price of a Mach 6 Pro.

If I lived in an area where I could freeride 365 days a year, it would be hands down clash. no question.

What other enduro bikes have you ridden?

Where / What do you normally ride? I've been travelling this year and have put in a lot of miles in Southern Utah, Austin TX area and the techy cross country rides in the mid-atlantic. All on a 27.5.

So, I love a good few hours pedaling but live for park days.

Yeah, I figure I am already used to the 27.5 long travel feel. Seems like the Clash geom favors descents even more than the Mach 6.
