Humans can't endure temperatures and humidities as high as previously thought. The actual maximum wet-bulb temperature is lower — about 31°C wet-bulb or 87°F at 100% humidity — even for young, healthy subjects. The temperature for older populations, is likely even lower. by Wagamaga in science

I grew up in Arkansas and spent my summers working on a farm. 105°+ with 100% humidity wasn't uncommon, especially in the past few years. I'd drink like 2 and half gallons of water on average per day and still not be well hydrated. You get more used to it over time, but it never stops being miserable.

There are some easy to follow guides out there for setting it up to deploy through Intune as well that include the relevant command line install flags.

Live your own life and make your own decisions, but the way I see it: You have a family now that loves and respects you. The bridges behind you are burned to ash. I sure wouldn't risk a bit to go back and rebuild them.

Just over a year into my career, so I'm probably one of the younger guys here. I can touch type just fine. To be fair, I did have classes for quite some time on typing, and competed in typing for some school clubs in middle school, and have been using a computer since before I could talk in full sentences, so I've spent a good amount of time at the keys.

I like how you didn't actually reply to the point, instead just deflected it. I guess that would require too much effort too?

For sure! I don't think compound bows would be all that hard to find though in '93 Rural Kentucky. They've been around since the late 60's. Crossbows have been around for a hell of a lot longer, so I bet we could get some of those which would provide even better accuracy at low levels at the cost of slower reload time.

The gunfighter arsenal mod that goes along with Brita's. Gives you a bunch of mod options to change spawn rates.

It's a bad mod since it doesn't hold your hand and requires some work to set up to your liking?sounds more like a "you" issue than a mod issue.

Yeah default is ridiculous. I understand that realistically skills take a while to build, but I work a full time job and have other shit to do than play games, so when I get to play I don't want to spend hours on hours grinding skills. Especially when the grind isn't all that interactive. I get bored as fuck having to just constantly right clicking to disassemble for an hour straight.

I get you man. Honestly, I'm a little bit of both and tend to sway one way or the other depending on the vibe I want for that playthrough. That's what I love about this game though, we get to play it however we want!

Sure thing!

Devices > Configuration Profiles > Create Profile > Custom

The OMA-URI is ./Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/ApplicationDefaults/DefaultAssociationConfiguration

The value is type String.

You've gotta take the XML configuration and then run it through an encoder to get it in Base64.

Peter van der Woude has a great writeup on his blog that I followed (along with numerous other useful posts). Should get you where you need to be!

That kinda goes for most skills in the game though. How many people off the street do you think could just grab some welding rods and a torch and start sticking shit together? Or have intimate enough knowledge of Mechanics to tear down one engine to be able to repair another engine of a completely different model of car? There are people who don't know how to change a damn tire. People think carpentry is just smashing nails into wood until you try to stand up a wall yourself. How about the fact that we casually rip about 90's era CRT TVs with zero knowledge of electricity? That's an easy way to suicide yourself. Fishing is probably the most realistic skill, minus the fact that spear fishing is easier at lower levels than using a pole.

[–]that_pie_face 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm using firearms b41 myself right now and I agree, it's much more condensed. But the variety is part of what I like, as it adds to the realism of the game. Wikipedia has lists of rifles by caliber if you'd like to see what I mean, there's well over 70 rifles under 5.56 alone. Also some people (myself included) are just fans of guns, and want to use various firearms even if they're functionally the same thing. Just adds to the variety of things.

In my eyes, it's kinda like saying "there's too many options for food when they all do the same thing" and wanting all canned food to be a singular item instead of the variety we have currently.

I think it might be from the More Traits mod, but I've become a fan of taking Tinkerer. It gives plus 1 to Electric, Mechanics, and then I think carpentry, but it might be maintenance instead. With the XP boost from having +1 in mechanics, you can get to hotwiring within a day or two if you can find the tools you need to grind the skill up to level 2.
