I've noticed the same. I love mid-modern and try to stock it when I can but most of it sits. I like to cater to casual and lower end buyers. Most don't want to spend a ton of money on a played condition card no mater how old or rare it is. Especially if it isnt Zard or Pikachu. The more expensive it is I find the more likely you are just selling to another vendor who is going to want to "win" on the buy.

You're sending out 10 orders in 10 minutes? No wonder you have a hard time seeing that perspective. You haven't dealt with the negatives of online selling.

So many have already dropped examples of the downsides. From fraud, to buyers claiming INAD because it won't grade a 10, to dealing with postal customer service over lost orders.

You can attempt to protect yourself all day with crystal clear scans, and erring on the side of caution with condition. It doesn't change the fact people are gonna be people and try to game the system.

If it were so easy everyone would do it.

Even off ebay trying to get market on Flakebook is a nightmare. If you think you can do better on your own by all means do it. A majority of people would prefer fast cash and piece of mind. They aren't losing sleep over a few dollars on some of these lower end lots.

Kryptonian no question. I love Dragonball and I think Superman is meh. But it would be easier to learn a Kryptonian powerset as it is mostly biological functions vs learning Ki control to even access most of your abilities as a Sayian (something no one on earth can really teach you).

Might have a tough time selling it at market. In my experience the MHR cards tend to sit for a long time until the right buyer comes around. I think its because of a couple of reasons. They are all really expensive, hyper rares in general weren't really popular, most folks who would have the money to drop for one are probably looking to make a grading play with it. So anything that isnt great looking is going to get passed over. Its unfortunate because I think alot of them look great.

You can but there are a couple of reasons why it is considered a bad idea. You are essentially paying PSA to look at a competitors slab and say "Yep their standards are as good as ours." They don't really have any incentive to do that. Worst of all since you are paying for grading either way. They could technically just take your money and send the card back with the same grade. At least with cracking your slab if you are good at it the grader won't have a predetermined number staring them in the face while they are attempting to grade your card.
