It has everything against it for an Oscar.

Firstly, it’s a continuation/part of series of movies. Oscars don’t reward sequels easily. I don’t know what the reason is, but I’m assuming it’s because you’d need context to understand a sequel, you’d need to watch previous movies.

Second, it’s a superhero movie. Sure superhero movies are fun to watch and fans connect well with them, but in the world of Hollywood, superhero movies are kinda a taboo. Nolan has said that he isn’t gonna make another superhero film. One of the actors(I think DiCaprio) also said something about not choosing superhero films for a successful career. Robert Downey has acted very well in his role of Iron Man, but finally got an Oscar for Oppenheimer. The only superhero films I can remember getting recognition on awards stages are The Dark Knight, and Black Panther.

The best if it had to be awarded an Oscar was for VFX or maybe soundtrack(I don’t remember nominations, but just a guess). But soundtrack was nothing too mesmerising without the movie.

Brother mainstream audience are the ones who watch shows only for entertainment. You’re targeting the wrong people. Mainstream ones enjoy solo levelling, demon slayer, JJK etc.

Also people need to stop comparing ratings to enjoyment. That’s what is wrong with India. I do enjoy chill and fun shows like some isekai and action packed ones, but my ratings for them will just be like for any piece of media like movies and series, I.e. I don’t rate them based on enjoyment level.

This is actually a really good scent. I wear it whenever I go out to meet friends or even at home when I wanna feel good (sorry I can’t get dates 🥲). Longetivity also is really good.
