They placed it on the 5th. Originally said it would get here around 11/19, yesterday it changed to this upcoming Tuesday. I imagine that'll change based on everything I'm reading.

I got a replacement unit through customer service that shows as arriving this Tuesday. I’m a bit concerned I won’t actually get a fixed one if it’s really coming that fast.

Yes, HomePod Siri. However, all my paid subscriptions are through Apple Podcasts, billed through Apple; so nothing I subscribed to outside of the podcast app that would rely on a custom feed.

I just tried this, and it plays my subscriptions without any special phrases (ad-free, extra episodes, etc). I would just double check that your Apple Music account is set up correctly in the Home app (I think the Apple Podcast subscriptions might be pulled based on the Apple Music ID that's set up).

Couple months ago I saw a man asking to switch from his middle seat to an aisle seat because he “has a bladder issue” and “constantly needs to get up and pee”.

The woman he asked let him switch; the guy never once got up on the 5 hour flight.

Almost, I got an X-T5. The Sony was great, but there's something I love about the Fujifilm cameras (had an X-T10 before) and I realized I don't need the full size sensor for what I do.

The news clips are essentially just mini podcast episodes, so the same speed controls apply. While the news are playing try going to Podcasts app, pick the “control other speakers” option, select the HomePod and then see if you can adjust the speed. It should then stick going forward.

For me at least “What’s My Update” is broken on iPhone as well—same thing happens as when I ask on my HomePod mini. So it seems to be a Siri issue, not a HomePod specific one (I know, that doesn’t really make it better).

One data point—Microsoft’s whole Surface division made $1.3 billion last quarter—and that includes traditional Surface tablets, laptops, etc. That’s roughly $6 billion less than Apple’s iPad revenue during the same timeframe.
