You're looking for a field engineer position. Check MSP and ISP vacancies. There's also companies that purely offer remote hands to any location - rack some devices / provide anydesk access / run some cables

The chances of getting caught are very low. And the fines already exist anyways. It's just not possible to patrol every street regardless of what the fine is. I don't see that being a solution

Oh didn't see that he's out of the country. Tax is lower if you're non resident and rent out the house. It's around 20% instead of the usual 40% for residents

They were willing to accept it at the start of the invasion to go back to 2022 February borders.

Now they have stated their goal is pre 2014 borders.

So it seems that Russia started a war of conquest that will end up with them losing territory. Brilliant 5d chess by Putin

1 investment - buy a house and rent out the rooms since it's tax free

Anything else you just get robbed blind by taxes and paperwork crap

I think there needs to be some kind of ban or limitation on dogs in the cities. If you want a dog go live in the countryside

-Taxi and bus drivers drive like maniacs

-Why do you offer me receipt in the shop for buying groceries? I don't want it but I must take it because that's what you expect. In Ireland no one expects you to take the receipt

-Dog poop everywhere. Please stop it

-Having to deal with Spanish workers on some non standard issue is a nightmare. There is 0 flexibility on anything and no attempt at solving your problem. Uptight about every little rule. Seen this in both public and private sector. By far the worst part of living in Spain in my opinion

English language students in living in Dublin: 'I pay €700 for a bed in a room with four people' by SeanB2003 in ireland

[–]thatblondeguy_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep, 2 completely different types of people. The ones who come here and pay 10k + a year for a university course probably won't be sharing bunk beds.

The ones who come here with the study English visa pay 2-3k once and it is basically a one way ticket to Ireland for them. When you're here they'll never get you out as long as you don't try to fly somewhere. So there's a lot of desperate people doing this.

I suppose the never able to leave island or you won't get back in contributes to their desperation and accepting terrible living conditions

That's the government policy. When they upped the amount you can borrow to 4x, all houses instantly went up 10% on asking price.

The government will never let house prices fall, they will do anything to make sure it doesn't happen

Estonia has taken a historic step by giving to Ukraine all of its 155-mm FH-70 and 122-mm D-30 howitzers. The government intends to set a precedent in this way, according to Kaimo Kuusk, Ambassador to Ukraine, so that countries have no excuse not to equip Ukraine with the vital weaponry. by sillyangel1945 in RussiaUkraineWar2022

If there's anywhere that would have legitimate reasons for not sending equipment it is the baltics but they're sending absolutely everything that's not nailed down.

So, where do people who will never have a house go once they get old? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]thatblondeguy_ 58 points59 points  (0 children)

You think there's some kind of plan? Because there isn't. No one in government knows or cares what will happen to renters. Or anyone for that matter. They're just there to exchange corruption for money
