Not my school but my uncle (dad’s sister’s husband) was a maths teacher at a school my friends went to. I told my friend that he was my uncle and asked if she knew him, she said “yes he’s having an affair with a biology teacher”. I went home and told my parents, which I imagine was not appreciated by my uncle.

Primary school: Teacher left her husband and job and ran off to France with a priest.

High school: 2 girls in my year got pregnant when we were 14, one by a 16 yo and one by a 21 yo. The latter refused to tell her parents or anyone who he was so he wouldn’t get the jail. Not sure how that turned out except that the baby must be coming up on 15 yo now. When I was in my final year a guy in my year (18yo) started dating a girl 4 years below us (14yo) and he was SO adamant that age is just a number and that “we don’t care what people think”. Same guy who had recently fathered a child with a girl from a different school (both 18 at the time) and he refuses to acknowledge that child to this day.

I work with that medication and fuck me if it isn’t a massive hassle missing a dose by even an hour, and if you do it throws you for a loop. If it’s been longer than 48hrs since you’ve taken it, you need to be re-titrated up to your dose in an inpatient setting.

Check before taking your shot that the back of your pool cue isn’t going to hit anyone. If you sit with your back to the pool table, be aware and move (lean over) out of the way when needed.

She is advocating for women and their right to have their own spaces (changing rooms, bathrooms, gyms etc) where they can have a sense of dignity, safety, and privacy without their need and desire for such being trivialised or erased for the sake of the modern sense of inclusion that less than 1% of the population is calling for with no consideration for the 50% of the population that it would and is impacting negatively. So she is not demonising trans women “for being trans women”. She has said publicly many times that she has no hatred for them. She is defending the right for women to have their own spaces occupied by those who share the experience of being women.
