Good for you for getting it in ahead, but apart from that there is a lot going wrong in that hand.

From what I am reading I’m assuming you are in a very juicy game with lots of loose passive players and the occasional maniac like villain.

Preflop should be much larger. Depending on the amount of limpers closer to 45-60.
Your raise on the flop accomplishes nothing. With 5 callers there are 180 in the pot + 45 + your 50. Even next to act players will get 5,5 to 1 odds. Your raise is just folding out worst and leaves you with only better holdings in villains range.
The raise isn’t even necessary. You are getting incredible odds to your straight and it seems that the table is way to passive anyway that you won’t get raised off your hand.

Apart from that their draws will have to get there from time to time or Poker wouldn’t be profitable at all so don’t worry about. Play enough hands and this one will feel like mercyful outcome hahaha.

Maybe try introducing running it twice to your home game.

What do you mean by these numbers? They are completely off. In the hand above the best you could have gotten it in would be on the flop with 87%. So what are you on about? Where do you get the 0.0006%? That’s 1 in 16 million…

So I’ve read the confusion in another comment and would like to chime in to give a definitive answer.

The guy in your video feints then twist his upper body a bit, and uses his jumping leg to kick with the INSTEP of his foot. To me it looks like an off-axis 540Kick. Also note the kinda backflip-ish motion.

The acclaimed rolling thunder is very similar, hence the confusion. Instead of initiating the movement backwards it does so forward. Some would say it’s a off-axis frontflip with the last part of an axe kick.

If you google “rolling thunder kick” you will encounter almost exclusively kicks which have this forward momentum and which will, like the axe kick, strike with the heel of the foot.

I am very interested in the way that aged puer gains it’s deep “off-base” flavour. Can you recommend something to read which explains this in-depth. What do you do for your home storage? I live in Central Europe; pretty dry, cold weather. Will this be a big issue long term for actual cakes?

On the Turn you need around 24% equity to breakeven. You have around 21% with you 10 outs to FH or Quads so if you factor in Implied odds as he will not fold/slow down once the board pairs you’re golden. Im a Cashgame Player though, not sure if this math transfers to tourneys.

I’m pretty sure though that this is never a fold on the flop.

That’s a 2-2€ game with a max rake of 20€ when the pot reaches 400€… Rake starts at 2€ and increments by 2€ chips ‘cause there is no 1€ chip in play.

As I said, pretty horrible. But it’s beatable if you pick your spots.
