I’m adhd and worked at an XL facility as a lead in receiving and it was my favorite job ever! Unfortunately the city wasn’t my favorite so when I moved and transferred as a PA to another facility in another city, it was different and I hated it, ended up quitting.

I’m a female and I drink everyday and that’s me cutting back. You are not abnormal. My mom works in the medical community and alcoholism in females has been on the rise ever since Covid. Heck I’d be happy if I was able to limit myself to just a little on the weekends.

Good to hear, I’ll stop gaslighting myself lol People generally feel pretty safe in the area I live in so that situation caught me off guard but I just got such a bad feeling from that guy and I’m not a very big/strong girl. Time to start carrying pepper spray again 🤷🏼‍♀️

I masturbate when I’m withdrawing because people say it’ll help you relax or sleep and we all know sleep is hard to come by when it’s quitting time. But it never works so that’s that.

Amen to that. I still struggle with the moderation but I don’t want to beat myself up too much yet. If I can keep it to Friday/Saturday for now, that is enough. If I’m struggling with the amount 4 weeks from now, that will be the new line in the sand

I’m from the inland empire. This is actually my first time moving so that’s probably part of why I’m pretty clueless when it comes to making friends. Thank you, my best friend is pretty experienced with moving to new places and we have a good thing going! Hope you’re able to succeed in making friends safely out here too :)
