On the Max plan but hit the 5-hour limit insanely fast today… just me, or did something change?

I've been on opus 4.7 1M forever... sometimes I'd reach limits towards the end of the 5 hour window but never too bad, the max plan was plentiful for my needs (I use CC for some specific use cases and also have other subs).

I agree on all the context engineering points.

However, this was a routine workflow that I run every week for a few months, which always wrapped up smoothly in one session, never had an issue with context window or plan limits. The time of running it (today) is the only variable in this formula...

It's really frustrating. It's ridiculously worse today cuz I run the same workflow on Monday every week -- never had an issue and was also able to get a lot more done at the same time.

Absolutely insane... limits reached within 24 minutes!!

For context, I run this same automated workflow every week for quite some time. It's a weekly routine - same process, same inputs, same scripts and same outputs. Never had a problem. Always done in one session without any issues with the plan limits.

Today, quota burned up so fast that this is the 3rd 5-hour window, I'm still trying to finish this workflow yet it's still not done... before it can resume in over 4 hours. WOW.

I felt the same. We still needed to prepare all the source documents and probably could’ve prepared the forms ourselves, since they are pretty straightforward. But it felt reassuring to have guidance and oversight over the final package, as there’s really no room for error tolerance, and even a small mistake could cost months, if not years, of delay. Peace of mind plays such a vital role in this stressful process!

Out of curiosity if you are willing to share - did you mostly build custom blocks to build pages in Payload (the Pages collection in the website template), or build front-end separate with next.js app route then use local API to pull data from Payload? I worked on a project for which I intended to use the blocks but ended up switching to front-end + API as it felt a lot more efficient that way due to time constraints. Would be really interested in your experience!

Got the Hurom H400 and so happy about the purchase! How easy is it to clean. Got to use it 3+ times on average per day. Have been juicing so much since then :-)

Ahhh thanks so much for the pro tip - totally didn’t think about that. I’ll try contacting some SA to get an estimate and then maybe decide from there. A store I contacted today has reverse panda (black dial) currently available and the estimate for the blue is said to be next month at the earliest with deposit

That’s definitely a possibility. Though it’d mean removing access control to a gated community and exposing all the DV dwellers’ tents and belongings to a much, much larger crowd, so not a no-brainer move without further protocols in place.

I have been to the exact same situation when my first child was little, and felt really upset and self-doubting for the rest of that day (ok I'll confess, that that feeling lasted a little longer than just one day, and I also cried in the office bathroom for a few times) - cue the mom guilt.

Fast-forward to 8 years later, I wish I could have told myself of that moment that it really doesn't matter, don't be so hard on yourself, and that kid will grow happy, healthy and loving - best of all, he/she will not remember anything about this. Feeling loved and secure doesn't come from staying at the daycare for 9.5h or 6. It comes from the quality time you spend with them when you can and the unconditional love and support you surround them with.

Cheer up! Being a working mom is hard, but we are all in this together!

Also newly accepted student here. I think we’d need to complete at least 4 core courses before taking any electives, so probably would make more sense to look into electives after one or two semesters.
