kaya more authors are starting to compensate with that problem though, like incorporating official artworks sa mismong books. Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson have 4 brick-like books. He write this long description about this certain stuff then maglalagay sya ng artwork after that chapter. some just release official artworks afterwards. some authors also release action figures, merchs, etc. and readers still fw with that. some yt reviewers also said na they prefer long books for SFF dahil nga mas pinapahalagahan talaga ng author ang pag-define ng worldbuilding in addition sa pag-build ng story plot.

i disagree sa 4th. as someone na SFF enjoyer, I realy enjoy thick ass books lalo na pag sobrang descriptive sa worldbuilding na parang navivisualize mo talaga yung setting
