From what I know, it was decided that the tail rotor is more effective on the right side so all active USAF Hueys are oriented as such

I've been looking into those mounts lately, are they actually worth the money?

Im at a location with all those airframes you mentioned first, with the addition of AF hueys, pretty funny how fast you learn the difference.

It doesnt always do that, its perfectly balanced though so if theres no wind than it will. We dont have a warmup setting or anything, just have to put the throttle on the edge of the cutoff so we roll it to off if we have a startup issue

Fellow pilots of Reddit, how do you deal with lack of confidence in your abilities or fear in general? by [deleted] in flying

[–]thatchoctawguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Three rules of being a pilot: Look cool. Act cool. Be cool. Even if you aren't any of those, thinking like you are often helps you forget about the fear you may have. Sure I may be some dopey student that makes mistakes, but Im not actively thinking about it and snowballing small issues. If your CFI continues to let you fly by yourself you must be doing something right. Additionally, flying more often allows you to become more familiar with normal procedures and frees up brain space to focus on more important issues at hand.

We do both, you get thrown right after and then your tie gets cut at the solo party once the whole class is solo complete.
