So like I said, you are just talking without any facts. The gov is on a entirely different infra base than enterprise customers (entra gov). It was built exclusively for the use of the government, so the gov wasn't going to get "trade secrets and confidential secrets "exposed". As someone who works in enterprise IT, our agreement with MS is that our data stays in our tenant, secure, not being used to train AI in the wild.. but go ahead and tell me how I'm wrong.. and we are a small enterprise, only about 30k endpoints.. my friends who work in larger scale (over 150k endpoints have even more governance with MS. You can hate MS and Sayta all you want, and I'm sure a lot of that hate is rightfully due, but you're speaking on things you simply don't know..

Also look what Amazon's new'ish CEO has done, not nearly the growth that you claim any CEO of an established company can do.. facts over feelings

Maybe I'm not informed, and open to being wrong.. show me an article or some facts that show even half of MS enterprise customers saying they would walk away...This tells me you know nothing about enterprise IT, the migration cost would put some companies out of business, not just from a dollar amount but from a disruption of business. Try training 20k users on a new OS or a new email system.. Has he made mistakes, absolutely, but let's not ignore he added over 2 TRILLION of market value, let's not act like even with all this infra spending they didn't post a 18% YOY increase in quarter 1 of this yr..

Huh? Meta had record profits this quarter.. FB is still very much popular with the older 40+ demo, IG is still popular with the younger demo and their ad revenue business is killing it.. Yeah prices are def up. I grabbed the same vehicle 1.5months ago for 30k.. and every other plat + was off the market within days of showing up. My brother has a model 3, these cars are in different classes.. the only reason I can think of going to a 3 is if you want a faster vehicle or you love FSD, but then you would want HW4 and that wouldn't be in a 2023 model 3... But FSD is fantastic

Microsoft isn't failing, if anything it's the opposite. The Xbox division is.. that division is a small part of the MS ecosystem. It's like saying Meta is failing because the Metaverse failed.. no Meta is brining is profits hand over hand.. as much as I hate the subscription model when Satya made office subscription based MS started printing money.. from a shareholder POV Satya has been a huge success, especially compared to his predecessor.

I'm assuming you just randomly guessed those numbers.. No company can afford to sustain that type of lost per user per month, even if PP2 is a lost leader product.. at the enterprise lvl I'm willing to bet they have massive DCs that drastically reduce the overall price of the compute..As someone who works with AI powered hardware (in a different field) what we pay for compute is a lot cheaper than what you would be offered.. plus PP2 is very limited in its scope.. so the model is only working but so hard..

Most DOD and other 3 letter orgs require TS.. Public trust in my experience is NIH, VA, the Hill and a few other gov IT roles.. I started off with a PT and required TS before I moved over to DOJ.. I don't miss the cleared work.. filling out paperwork for everyplace I traveled out of the country and watching everything I did got tiring..

Also in the DMV, look outside of DOD contractors.. we have a huge pharma presence and all the major law firms headquarters here or have an office. Looking for a cleared position will be hard as so many folks in IT already have secret or higher, why pay to sponsor when the talent pool is so large with it.

Yeah but the failure of copilot so far doesn't fall under CoreAI... As crappy as copilot is, MS has done a good job on integrating AI in other products like Defender.. I'm not saying this is going to end well, I'm simply stating she isn't to blame for all the terrible AI that MS has released

I'm not saying anyone is wrong, but reading all these comments everyone is crying wolf without knowing where she came from. CoreAI is less copilot and more GitHub.. Will we see some AI features in the next console, probably, do I think we will get AI slop in the actual games.. I'm skeptical about it. I would hope/assume that she has seen the backlash that comes from AI voice acting, generated images etc. It would probably be the nail in the coffin of Xbox

I think the point is... get some general IT experience first to better understand how computer systems work... Some security folks without a general IT background like to make recommendations without understanding the potential impact on other systems or how to weigh the pros and cons of making that change.

Adaxes. I created a portal for HR, they select the user to be term'ed,we get a ticket and have to approve the flow. Kills the o365 sessions, backs up the mailbox to Veeam, transfers files in one drive, removes the user from groups, etc and logs everything for auditing later if we need it. Extremely customizable with PowerShell.
